Get rid. Hasn't shown the talent to be worth keeping and he's clearly thick as pigsh*t as well if he didn't realise this would be an issue.

It's not as if he's got the whole Chelsea kit on and he's posing with a Gooner who looks like Harry Potter.

Oh.

They don't have numbers on their training kits and if they did, that's not Batshuayi's number.

He's shown a lack of maturity and professionalism.

Needs a strong warning about future conduct and move on.

He actually came on at Wembley vs Chelsea. He must be mentally subhuman if he hadn't worked out there's a bit of rivalry between the 2 clubs. I imagine it may have been mentioned once or twice during the season around the training ground, given what happened at Stamford Bridge last season. If he's telling the truth, and he really didn't know, he must be Jason McAteer levels of thick. Kudos to him for remaining alive for so long if so.

He's either thick as shit or doesn't give a shit.
He's been here nearly a year and doesn't think maybe not the best idea wearing your teams hated rivals full kit. If you're either that unprofessional or that stupid you're not going to have the right mentality or brain capacity to improve as a footballer, something he'd need to do massively to have a future here.

He's been a dud signing and after that he does something this stupid. Before this I'd have been amazed if he was at Spurs next season, he's gone for sure now.

Maybe he lost a bet with Michy? I know they have the same agent and played for Marseille and are really good friends. I can imagine GKN probably said that we could beat Chelsea to the league.....loser wears the opposing team full kit.

You all need to relax. GKN just said this like a month ago, I doubt his intentions for wearing the kit were malicious.

But the France Under-21 international believes he has now settled in north London thanks in part to the support of his Spurs team-mates.

"I was the problem," the 22-year-old L'Equipe.

"Of course it was difficult not to play, especially for someone like me who loves football, but there comes a time when you need to stop making excuses. I spoke about it with my family. I learnt what I was missing. I wasn’t strong enough mentally.

“I was nearly like a child, in a cocoon. I had it easy. I found a lot of answers here, especially thanks to Mousa Dembélé, who told me: 'You have the talent, you have everything, but you need to work hard here'.

"When I dribble past someone, he didn’t cheer, but when I pressed hard, he would tell me 'That’s it, that’s good!'

“And when the best player you’ve played with, a guy who has everything, both feet, the physicality, the technique, tells you that, you listen. After that, a lot of people helped me: Rose, Walker, Kane and others. And my two big brothers Moussa Sissoko and Hugo Lloris.”

Calm down, he made mistake. He shouldn't be punished for an error in judgment. He's 22 and the worst thing he's done so far is wear the kit of one his close friends ( our rivals) team and had a photo taken. No drugs, no drinking, no alleged tax evasion just a terrible faux pas.

He's been a bit of a prick here but no reason to throw him overboard.
Its probably just the posters who think he's rubbish and are just overreacting.
I would imagine after this a player or two will have a word with him.

100%

Anyone saying "doesn't matter, anyone who cares is silly" can do one - professionally it's terrible behaviour. If he worked for me, I'd have him in my office on Monday for a talking to and I imagine Poch will have words

Not like he's earned the benefit of the doubt. Poch's been disappointed in him, he's admitted himself he's struggled. He should be keeping his nose clean

That said, it really doesn't mean anything. Players really don't care and it's pointless pretending they do or getting at all worked up

Most errors in life are errors of judgement. What a bizarre thing to say. So no one takes responsibility for anything?

He's 22 not 15

Just out of interest, can anyone think of other examples of players wearing the shirt of direct rivals of the club they play for?
