Really excited about this. Talented attacking wing backs are rare and from very brief YouTube scouting he certainly looks the part

We remember a different Bale. Bale, who went on to being one of the best players in the world (some bar you’re setting) looked better technically at that age, but he was also RAPID right from the off.

‘Miles behind physically’ just isn’t right, and even he took his time to settle with us
Besides the pace I'd day definitely he was miles behind physically. Strange to argue otherwise really. Bale was a scrawny kid until he filled out several years into his stay with us. Don't agree with your assessment there.

He completed more dribbles with a higher success rate than Perisic. He’s technically strong, can score goals, decent passer and is quick and powerful. He’s hasn’t got huge burst of pace ability but is quick crossing needs to be worked on but I’m sure he’ll improve a lot there. He’s very good all round, and is very advanced and developed for an 18 year old, (may have just turned 19)
Nice post. Appreciate it. I'm always up for a talented youngster.

Udogie looks a good player with a lot of potential. As long as it’s not affecting us being able to bring in more urgent needs then it’s all positive.

But I don’t want to be hearing at the end of the window that we didn’t improve CB or get a creative midfielder in because we wouldn’t/couldn’t pay an extra £5m for example.
I’m happy how our window has gone but, Utd aside, most fans from a top 6/7 side are also very pleased. If an opportunity to improve arises we cannot let it pass.

Even if we couldn’t get a top cb because we were £5m short you won’t hear about it. And, there is no way £5m is going to be a hurdle if the right guy is available.

Seems like this one is a go-er. Looks really exciting from the little I've seen so hopefully we can get it over the line.

This type of young-with-potential signing is what got us to where are but feels like we've been on a bit of a barren run with young players recently (Kulu and Romero were already slightly older and established).

I think to catch up with the very top teams we could really use a couple of youth signings like Sarr, Udogie, Devine, etc coming off big. It's hard to compete with them for the established stars so we need an edge from somewhere else.

This would be such a great signing IMO. He looks like he can go straight to the top.

With him, Sarr, Spence, Kulu, Devine, Scarlett, Skipp and Gil as U23 players the future is bright.
