You don't think clubs want Dele Alli??
I never said that. Do you live in a strawman world?

Why is it so hard for you to understand that people can laugh at a story while understanding the workings of football and the media?

Because you didn't say you understood the workings of football, you laughed at the fact Man City may want Dele Alli

All the top teams in the world want Sergio Aguero but no talk of him leaving despite them languishing in 4th AND being dropped earlier in the season

why doesn't the papers every write title contenders tottenham want to sign Sergio Aguero?

It's never the other way round

Because we don't have the money, the other big clubs do.

If we were suddenly awash with Arab money I'm sure the same stories would appear about us.

I think we can easily have 1 or 2 more seasons out of him. Purely due to contract and love of club.

by love, I mean he'd be happy to give us a season, not stay for life. He's still progressing and can achieve a bit more.

Tottenham could afford to sign Sergio Aguero make no mistake about it. It's whether they choose to do it

I'm sure if the papers got wind of Real being interested in Aguero they'd run with it. They have been printing stuff about Hazard etc.

Unfortunately, it is an undeniable fact that if the last decade we have sold players on for vast profit who have made their name at our club. Whether we did so willingly or whether our hand was forced is neither here nor there. It happened, so the media assume there is a greater % chance of it happening again.

And whist he is progressing on a personal level I see no reason why he would leave anytime soon. We are not harming his career one bit. He still has 13 years at the top

So the only reason these clubs are lining up to buy our starting 11 is because wages ... The narritive keeps moving the goalposts.

The only teams in world football that do not sell under their wish is real madrid, barcelona and bayern munich. Even Barca sold Figo to Madrid when they didn't want to

We can afford to pay someone £250,000 a week with a £50m minimum transfer fee. News to me.

My take is we haven't got an individual wage cap so it is feasible. Club spent 60m on sissoko janssen GKN and probably paying them a combined 150k a week

It'd be so typical of City to go for Alli (a luxury ((in terms of price and position)) they don't need) over Walker, Dier or Rose, players they desperately need.

The club is so stupid. City's forward line should be set. De Bruyne, Sane, Sterling, Silva, Jesus and Aguero are a fantastic blend of pace, guile and goals.

They need full backs, a cb, a holding midfielder, a goalkeeper worthy of the name.

If Pep desperately wants British players, I think he'd be an idiot not to try for Walker, Rose and Dier although I would obviously hope/expect Levy to tell them to f - off.

We've been very blessed over the last couple of seasons with our full backs. They can defend and attack in almost equally high standard. Lets not forget all the years we struggled to get this sorted. It's a huge position in football nowadays. We MUST keep them.

City are in for Rose and Walker as well

It's feasible in theory, but we've only just agreed to push players through the 100k a week barrier. To think we're then going to pay someone 2 or 3 times that is pie in the sky.
