I don’t disagree. Things have been different since we have been in the new stadium though (with the exception of that period under Mourinho in the pandemic).
maybe just maybe, everyone expected us to make champions league and the obligation kicked in. Maybe just maybe when the obligation fails to be activated the option is always discussed around the table. bunch of bedwetters who dont know what is actually happening

He’s not though is he? Hes a very talented footballer… one who until his injury had more assists/chances created than any other prem player bar de bruyne.
He lost his confidence post injury when the whole side had.
He clearly has a lot of talent we need to get it back and play him at 10.

Fair enough but he has thinking time till the season starts. He'll have plenty of video evidence to evaluate all players.
It’s 25m. Plus what youngster? We have no wingers bar Devine coming through the academy and he’s no where near ready. Plus he plays off the lw.
In this market where are you going to find a rw/10 for cheap? He was excellent this season until his injury. All the side lost confidence and form bar Kane.
25m is a steal.

Yeah there were countless stats to back it up. Do you own digging chief. For starters he had 8 assists last season. 3 more assists in 7 games this season before his injury.
"Oh joy, another mediocre footballer" is not evidence based facts and you know it. It's a lazily stated opinion that adds nothing of value to any discussion if it's not accompanied by arguments, observations or actual facts. If you could add any of those, I'm pretty sure most people here would be happy to consider them and discuss them.
I guess your post has a point if you want to wind people like me up. So, congratulations, it's not entirely pointless.
