The bit where he tackles Valencia and then gets right in his face to explain that no, he's not going past!

I'd love to know what he says to these players after he's tackled them.
I think most are in agreement that Romero and Maddison are our two most important players to how we play at the moment.

So an injury to one of them makes alot of sense 🙄

Could easily put Bissouma, Udogie and Sarr in that bracket. Fact is, we play as a well organized team now.

I think (hope) that we are now rapidly moving away from the idea that we have a most important player. It's all about a properly functioning team now.

I get that, but its going to take time. We can probably live without 1 or 2 players from our first choice 11.

Cuti and vdv is different because of the lack of depth. I'm hoping Phillips can make the step up, but it's a massive risk.

Happened with literally his last kick of the game. But he did a recovery sprint about 30 seconds later so don't think it's anything much at all. But would like to see him avoid the altitude in La Paz.

Hmm... anatomical references show rectus posterior as a neck muscle, whereas rectus femori is a quadriceps muscle. But then, it's twitter, so...

I think that most people think that Bissouma has been or player of the season so far. An island of calm in the middle of the park.

But all 3 are integral to that calm, thoughtful ball retention and key passing

Very true, BUT, think Bissouma is the one player we literally have no replacement for right now.

It's still hope at this stage. Bissouma underpins the way we play. None of our other DM options can progress the ball the way he does. We can't play on the front-foot without that.

Next game at Bolivia is a stinker of a fixure.

3500 meters above sea level. Usually players who arent used to it struggle to breathe and play to their full potential.

I really hope he isnt played.

Other part is, the travel. I hope Argentina lads playing in Europe all come back in some private Jet. If its public, theres no direct flight to London. Overall trip is 13 to 18hrs

He could be travelling most of Wednesday. So, even if he is fit, atmost he could have just the 1 day to train on

I think they all travel together on a private jet, at least they have in the past.

You would really hope he is rested, but I bet you he isn't.
