Does not mean we will sign him mind. But we are certainly talking with that view mind. We also have other irons in the fire.

For me there is a trade off. Go big at LCB like Bastoni or Gvardiol and then get a solid player to cover RCB/CCB (Kim Min Jae or De Vrij) but if thats not feasible, then go for someone like Bremer at RCB/CCB and Lenglet at LCB.

I think there maybe a reason N’Dicka isn’t as high on our list as many seem to think he should be.

What if a Lenglet loan with option means we can afford a better player somewhere else in the squad. Heck, maybe even another upgrade in defence.

Bringing in a top CB in the Bastoni / Skriniar mould and then supplementing that with Lenglet on loan, while seeing Rodon and Tanganga make way, would give us phenomenal quality in depth at CB.

Or we sign from the next level down, and maybe have saved enough to land an additional CB for depth for less wedge, or maybe even a loan like Lenglet.
