Would be in favour if this as a squad signing. Overall he was fine last season. Made s couple of high profile errors but overall he was steady.
I’ll be disappointed if we don’t get Laporte or some other similar quality LCB to partner Romero regularly though.

He wasn't the worst CB in our squad last season, so I wouldn't be entirely against us signing him as a squad player. However, even without Lenglet, we have too many CBs in the first-team squad who need to be moved on. Signing Lenglet surely incurs the need to sell an extra CB (on top of those we already need to sell) before we can buy our new starting LCB.

He’s our second best centre back. Would anyone argue with that? If we can get him cheap then I’d rather do that than keep the likes of Sanchez

Yeh I can’t really see this happening. Seemed to be a player that Conte wanted and even then he didn’t have all that much faith in him. He’s good on the ball and would be able to play out from the back but he’s slow and not physical enough. Think Ange is going to want to bring some speed to our team.

I don’t think he was good enough. A buying strategy of replacing poor players with slightly less poor players is not a good route to go down.
