Only 2-3 weeks ago it was "Zidane doesn't fancy Eriksen". Sends out a weird message if they suddenly start pushing hard for him again.

Why exactly are we suddenly convinced Eriksen to Madrid is back on? I just popped over to r/RealMadrid and they're discussing Fabian Ruiz and Donny Van De Beek for the CM position, not a single mention of Eriksen in days.

I'm kind of indifferent on Eriksen leaving now. My only wish is that we take Ceballos as part of the deal. I would be more than happy if we could get like 50m + Ceballos or something like that, and then buying Lo Celso for 55-60.

The story has always been that the Madrid board want Eriksen and Zidane wants Pogba (or recently Van De Beek) instead. They'll probably negotiate with Eriksen behind Zidane's back and try and convince him to take him. Risky move as ZZ only came back on the condition he gets more control.

Problem for us is as long as someone at RM is fluttering their eyelids at CE, he won't sign a new deal and Spurs' risk goes up.

I wonder what that feels like for the player. Joining the club you always wanted to play for, with a manager who didn't want you.

He probably thinks the move is now or never to be honest, and you never know how long the current manager will last. Also players tend to back themselves to succeed.

I always saw Eriksen as a Barca type player anyway, doesn't seem a good fit for the Madrid ethos IMO.

Agree, he seems to hide sometimes in games for too long and albeit will make some great passes, but goes missing.

I find when the situation is right he shows his talent I wish he had a bit more drive and creativity to create when its not there. That makes a great player IMHO

I agree in a short passing game he is a king = Barca

I used to read about Bielsas style that Poch adopted. Short passes were not the M. O. of his game...Im sure Poch must want more dynamic passing even taking more risks.

A few things seem to be popping up in the Spanish press about Levy offering Eriksen to Madrid. Marca most recently.

I believe Poch has been pretty clear in that he wants him to stay, at least he has in press conferences.

With NDombele, Eriksen would open up his game I think...he would have to
If that happens he isn't the leader

This thread is slowly turning into the feeling you have when you talk to your mates about football and they haven't got the first clue what they're talking about. My brain is itching.
