Bit harsh!

Just wasn't suited to us, scored a few goals but lacked the work rate and desire we needed. His style of turgid slow play would suit an italian team.

Because I repeatedly saw him let opposition midfields run past him without putting so much as a whiff of a challenge in, on a regular basis.
