Its simply not true. Paulinho consistently won more ball in every game compare to fan favourite Mason. Paulinho is a very good player that fell victim during a period where Spurs' performance was upsetting majority of fans. Some loud idiots began to go on a witch hunt to look for scapegoats.

I bet he ends up staying at Guangzu for the prestige... ;) and with a few extra beans coming his way.

Well played the agent, link him with clubs so far out his league that they wouldn't even be bothered to quash the rumours...

I hear Real Madrid are trying to sign Ali Dia too... Apparently he's tearing it up in the Macau league

He was a decent player but just didn't adapt to the pace and physicality of the league. I think he would probably do well in Italy but there is no way Barcelona would sign him, his passing ability was average at best.

His awareness, or lack of rather, of his surroundings was one of his poorest traits. Always lost the ball when in possession. Simply had no time on the ball due to this lack of awareness, especially in the fast pace of the PL.

Once he lost that confidence, everytjing just went downhill. His first touch became so poor due to thsi loss in confidence.

I actually remember being happy that we sold him in all honesty. I wouldn't even care if he went to Barcelona and was a world beater because I fully remember what I saw from him in his time with us and I personally didn't think he looked like a great footballer at all. He actually looked like one of those footballers who have good physical attributes but are very poor with their feet.
