Although I'm kind of sick of having Chelsea cast-offs... Tuchel is a proven Prem manager and it seemed like he was adaptable. Surely he's the best "available"? Or certainly the best free agent?
God no absolutely not Tuchel!!! Have you/we not learnt anything about our last 3 appts?!

He's been poo-poo'd by hive.

Which, given their track record, is actually a resounding endorsement :D

Such a good shout mate, would love to take a gamble on Kompany or a Gallardo etc.

Kompany has got Burnley playing beautiful football straight away, he’s a leader and a winner and he’s a very likeable guy who our crowd would get behind rather than these dull negative overpaid chancers who as you say are being more and more found out for only being able to be successful by buying tons of players and spending tons of money rather than actually coaching and improving players like Poch and others have done, that is the sign of an actual good manager.

I like the romance idea of Poch back but he’d need a good DofF to make the player purchase and plans and there is some risk to it, I’d also be more than open to someone like Kompany for sure, ticks a lot of boxes and would be a good fit for us.
Agree. We need a coach not a flat track bully.

Tuchel is an outstanding coach. We’d be lucky to get a coach of that calibre willing to take on Spurs again at this point in time.

The whole ex chelsea thing is silly. Chelsea have employed half the worlds coaches just like we have!

Porro Romero Lenglet Udogie
Sarr Bentancur
Kulu Kane Son
Richarlison

Mgr: Poch

Bench: Dier, Spence, Sessegnon, Skipp, PEH, Gil, Devine, Scarlett

I rather think this would be awesome.

If we didnt have this weird fixation of chelsea managers before, Tuchel would absolutely be the main target and wish.

We know its going to be Poch

Levy has done the trick on me

Completely against any rationale I want that slightly chubby faced, hunk of an Argentinian back on our bench

Give me Jol as his number 2 and Harry as DOF. Let’s go all out on the fun times

Tuchel would last 5 minutes in the political vipers nest of the THFC hot seat

Hire tuchel and you’d be looking for a new manger in the summer because he’d fallen out with levy because he’d starting calling out the players who are shit

but he’d still probably win the CL and fa cup with us before that happens

Even in this formation it is clear we need a new CB to replace Lenglet in what youve posted. Someone commanding, physical and a leader to organise what would be a very young defence. We'd also need someone else who can be a physical presence up top like Vlahovic (assuming Juventus remain in deep financial trouble). I think Emerson and Biss would also be suited to 4-2-3-1 (perhaps not Spence?) and obviously a new sweeper keeper with good distribution. Someone like Maddison would also be perfect for one of the AM roles.

Overall though im looking at this and just wishing we would pull the trigger and move on from a Conte who I really dont think will be here next season.

If it can get the feel good factor back I'll take poch.
We need something to turn the mood around and it ain't Tuchel.

I thought poch had run his course with us but I just want to enjoy watching football again.

Is that too much to ask?

Whoever it is I'd preferably like a coach that plays a back 4 and hell maybe even a coach that is adaptable tactically (if that's not bordering on the realms of the mythical...)

Totally goes against my thinking but this popped up on my social media today, so bring him home.

But not really. Or maybe. I don't know. Levy out.

Fucking loved that man! Broke my heart when it all went wrong and I reached the stage where i knew he had to go. I'd love to get that feeling back with a manager that you felt he'd run through walls for the fans.

If Conte stays i will be absolutely shocked.
Passed on behind the scenes a couple of weeks back but was told Conte will be leaving. Was same source who gave me the initial info about Conte coming to us and the Bale info re retiring and trying his hand at golf.

He was absolutely adamant that Conte would be leaving.

If you read the Shed End (a Chelsea forum), it seems eerily similar to what we are going through with Conte. We need top learn the lessons we have been taught from Jose and Conte and stay the fuck away from Tuchel, otherwise will be back here with 18 months. Some snippets from shed end:

"The talent is there. Tuchel just isn't getting the best out of them."

"I say Marsch did a much better job of getting the best out of his limited resources today. Can't say the same for Tuchel."

"lamps also got top 4 in a season where we lost hazard and had to rely on academy players heavily. TT inherited a team on paper that had the potential to challenge in a couple of years .. but instead we have actually regressed.. apart from Rudiger which player improved under TT??"

"We have spent £170million in the last month, to look even worse than we were before. "

"He appears to be stubborn in his ways and the CL win has done nothing other than paper over the shambles that lies within."

"We had a massive improvement in our defence after Lampard, but it now is just looking like we always had the personnel but Lampard being a crap manager (very good player no doubt, but dog sh*t of a manager) couldn't get them to work as a competent manager would. Even that defence is now causing concerns with how leaky it can be."

"A good manager would have changed the system and shored up the midfield the moment Gallagher got swamped by 2 and 3 players and the beloved Jorginho was cut through like he wasn't there. Jose would have either immediately change the game plan or changed the players and not let Leeds overrun the midfield as they did which allowed them to put constant pressure on the CB's. "

In which case we are clearly happy writing this season off

Maybe Levy thinks Conte can get us 4th as he did last year, but if the players know he’s off, which it clearly looks like they do, then we have more chance of coming 11th than 4th

Given this seems to be an open secret I can only assume that the club has a coach lined up who's happy to play wing backs. Otherwise spending all that time and effort on Porro was very odd indeed.

I was just about to post the same thing.
