I think Harry Redknapp is the only man that will prevent Sunderland from going down. He will get his old friend Defoe firing.
Well I haven't heard they're enemies, so I'm assuming that over the 4 years that Harry was his manager, they built up a reasonable liking for each other in a professional friendship. More than enough to call them 'old freinds.'How do you know they're friends?

Well I admit, they probably were never friends in the traditional sense,But can we call working relationships friendships? Could a manager and player in this situation be considered friends? Would they spend any time outside of work together? What actually constitutes being 'friends'?
Well I admit, they probably were never friends in the traditional sense,
but as good as friends can be between a manager and his player.
The Sun (I know, I know) say that he's simply not interested in the job.Rumour is Sean Dyche in at Sunderland
He could just make them train in Bournemouth.
But seriously - it was stated as impossible when we did it. Do we think Newcastle would be able to achieve the same?
