its paying off

What are your first thoughts of what will be your new home at the training centre?
It's amazing and it's difficult to even describe it with words. I knew about it because my Italian team-mates [who trained at Hotspur Way before the Euros final] told me about it. They told me 'Pier, just go, don't even think about it, it's amazing, just go'. I told them not to send me any pictures of it because I wanted to be surprised. I didn't want to see anything before.
Has the surprise lived up to what you were hoping for?
I think it went over what I was expecting. It's amazing.

Not sure, I think they were down to use it if they beat England

England certainly did. It would be interesting if that turned any heads in our favour, should we ever target one of them.

Mings was extremely complimentary iirc.

The new lodge is turning out to be such a shrewd investment. From the ability to isolate players on campus to enticing new players by word of mouth of its excellence.

Few bits of planning. The new eco centre, pitches with small stands appears to have full permission end of December. There’s also an application for a new temporary structure which I believe is for the women’s team until the more permanent facility at Whitewebbs is built link below.

Can’t believe they are building that as a temporary facility. Looks way to good to just knock down, surely could be a long term use for it.

Looks like a modular building to me. So it’s built in blocks off site then quickly assembled on site.

In theory it can then be disassembled sold and moved on elsewhere.

It’s really smart way to do it because the women’s team can have a working facility open in just a few months, whilst the main project is built over 18-24 months.

You can then immediately get on with competing to attract and keep the best players and growing that side of the club.

It’s going to be a huge growth market, and great for football imo.

Modular buildings can be easily dismantled and re-erected. That is one of the many benefits of quality modular buildings.

Seems like initial work commenced in December on the Eco centre which is far NW corner of Hotspur way. Still slightly confused what this is all about- An education centre, nature reserve, and new pitches with small stands. One man currently on site ?

Seems to be a new application on February 22nd looks up an update on previous media centre plans.

From what I can gather new plans are slightly bigger. Idea is to start next month taking 10 months to complete of a cost at a around £2m ( seems cheap )

Hearing local rumours in Enfield Town that we're building a women's stadium in Whitewebbs. Now I might have missed something, but I can't see any planning for that.

Some people saying it'll be a 15k stadium, that's not accurate is it? And given the non existent travel infrastructure, that wouldn't get approved, would it?
