Some interesting bits that haven't been mentioned as of yet as far as Im aware:
There will be 10 levels/floors in the stadium plus the basement and roof level

As we learned yesterday that there is room for the club to expand hospitality which will extend the life of the stadium without actually needing the any rebuilding in the next 10 years or so. For example Arsenal realised they could of done with more hospitality suites or seats within the first 10 years. They are stuffed since they can't build up due to height restrictions and can't go down without moving out due to the water table. Also there is a box level and another level that has boxes so potential more boxes than playboy

Worth noting NFL stadiums have a very short life due to an increase in the need for hospitality so having two potential tiers of boxes does point to a big NFL interest as you see a lot in the NFL stadia

Also the North stand is only 3 tiers whilst East and West are 4 tiers so it isn't a identikit stadium

There will 585 apartments in the grand scheme

The trains on the now upgraded Victoria Line will be have the most frequent trains before match days in the UK with a train running every 100 seconds to seven sisters and tottenham hale, where there to be the extension to happen in the next ten years it would mean great transport links directly to the stadium

Northumberland Park is getting an upgrade(a reconstruction) with a third track being built and there will be more frequent trains from Stratford. This will be completed before the stadium. There will be a better quality footbridge and the level crossing will be removed.

WHL station will get a major upgrade and planning permission submitted later in the year and work completed in 2017

The club are going to operate two new bus services from Alexandria Palace via Wood green(piccadilly line) and from tottenham hale directly to the ground

Also the kept Listed building sits MUCH better in to the grand scheme of things and is part of the "Tottenham Experience" which is connected to the listed building by glass and integrates well in to one large building

Whilst I don't like certain things about the stadium, the club have definitely got the overall grand scheme right and better than their previous attempts(i.e. hotel, tottenham experience, extreme sports centre(probably includes a live riot simulator where you fight against riot police:whistle:) and etc.)

That said I can't see the climbing holds passing health and safety

There is more but I can't download all the documents but have a lot already
Now I seen more documents I can add to this post

Other Interesting bits, one picture of the NFL area shows the layout, in which you can see the pitch, on the pitch it says LONDON on both sides. Now wembley hasn't ever written london on the pitch when hosting a match. Instead opting for a NFL badge and the name of the team playing as well as the badge of the team on the other side

Clearly there has been someone "EXTREME" working on this project, I like the ideas but its not something you see often on a build like this. There is a sky walk that goes from the ground to the roof of the stadium, there is then a glass "bridge"(more of a walkway) on where the polycarbonate roof is and you can walk over the goal line.

The masterplan does state when you go to the roof directly above the kop stand you can abseil down to the ground. Yep you will abseil down from the roof to the ground at a football stadium. Though I'm sure plenty of people after the game will make like lemmings and make the jump without a harness.

The stadium is taller than the last design and the hotel is 89m tall and the residential building are taller as well

The cladding is a mixture of a curtain wall glazing system and a perforated steel panels(which is the in thing for the last decade or so)

There was a complaint about wheelchair users saying they aren't well catered for in stadiums even new ones, well they got the best seats in the kop stand. So they can't have no complaints, that reminds me of that wheelchair song thread about the north stand, LOL.

Fans won't enter at street level instead going up the raised concourses, through the north and south stand. Hospitality fans will enter at street level from west and east stand. Wheelchair users will get the option of using a dedicated lift from street level or an external lift so they enter will the normal(normal meaning poor fans who can't afford hospitality) fans in the north and south stands

For anyone who wants a quick exit, every seat will within 30metre walk of an exit bar 500 seats in the kop stand. So if you're a miserable basterd you may want to sit elsewhere otherwise there is a greater risk of hearing other people moan or everyone having to hear you moan

The stadium doesn't confirm to FIFA recommended standards of 10m space behind the goal and 8m on the sides as it is closer behind the goal but this isn't a rule as pointed out before just a recommendation. Otherwise places like Old Trafford and etc wouldn't be able to host fifa/UEFA events and they do. Just under 5m behind the goals the first person and under 8m on the side.

Now FIFA stated stadiums shouldn't have seats further than 190m's away from the furthest corner flag. Due to the somewhat shallow rake the kop stand will be 180m. This is also why the OS has a capacity of 54k since the seats around there are further than 190m hence why they only have 4 or 5 rows in the top teir behind the goal.

It will be a aluminium roof which is a good thing since it help retain the sound better as a membrane roof will absorb it(this is kind of been my field for the last year)

@nicdic asked whether it eased my fears about the kop, it hasn't. The angle of the rake is much lower than the rest of stadium hence the stadium being an egg shape. however it does match Dortmunds rake though it is slightly less intimidating due to the fact that Dortmunds stand is an actually square stand whereas our kop stand is bit of a cheat since they are including the corners. This is the only part of the stadium that is bowl shaped the rest is a 4 stand layout.

Whilst Dortmund will have a yellow wall, we will have a blue wave.

So the kop stand starts pretty much in line with the goal line

Whether it will be the biggest kop stand is debatable as West Ham have a 24k kop stand

Another good thing is that the fans will be able to see each other all over the stadium. Even though I'm not a big fan of the roof, the roof won't dip downwards like the emirates and Old trafford. This helps the atmosphere as well acoustically and visually.

I don't like the idea of giving fans both the middle tier and top tier in the north stand. I rather they get penned at the bottom let alone have 3 tiers though at emirates you are supposed to get the top tier and the bottom tier for cup matches.

There are only 8k hospitality seats which suggest the club have made a huge mistake in making too little but then there is room for the north stand to be turned in to a hospitality area taking that figure to 11k potentially. There is also room to add some boxes as well. As there are 2 levels of boxes though they don't go all the way round which suggest we may add more

Initially hospitality will only be mainly East and West stand

I actually think they made the away dressing room too nice, given them a lot of toilet space and 11 showers as well as Ice baths

120 seat press conference room

The NFL dressing room is probably better than ours, it is definitely bigger

Hotel and Tottenham Experience works will be started before the stadium is demolished

I think some people have confused the phase plans with the original plan. The stadium will still be completed 3/4's however it won't be ready to move in to and I think part of the reason is the new pitch system as well the deadline. Its likely the structure will be completed of stadium when we leave for the 3/4's but it won't be ready inside and out.

Interesting that they are wanting to introduce tailgate/fanzones. The area around the stadium will be a fanzone as well the school playing fields outside the current East stand being used as a fanzone area. Bruce Grove Park would be potentially a tailgate party venue

Apparently the old high road was originally a major road during roman times to london, so expect some ruins to delay build times. Bill nic gates will be between the hotel and the tottenham experience which will be the main walkway for fans coming from seven sisters.

Interesting points addressing the listed buildings. They are saying that the buildings aren't in a great condition and that the scheme which they approved resulted in some poor architecture as the scheme had irregular arrangement and wasn't linear to the rest of the road. The new tottenham experience building will keep a stronger link with the high road and be more linear whilst keeping one of the buildings and also increases the pavement size from 2m to 9.5m

Another keeping is that an initial concept was made for removal of all the listed buildings(looks better as well imo but thats because it had more blue imo) and that Historic England, GLA and LBH expressed concerns over their removal and asked to explore all avenues in particular the warmington house building. As a result this redesign includes this in to the overall plan.

The tottenham experience will consist of a large retail area, small 80 person cinema, museum, cafe, Ticketing office and Sky walk kit room.

The listed building will be restored as well.

Now the building you guys have been all waiting for, THE EXTREME SPORTS BUILDING

This will consist of an elite climbing area, an adult bouldering room (google it and its a climbing wall that only has ridges and no harness), a cafe, a soft play zone for kids and a dive tank(starting from the 5th floor going down to the ground floor) as well as an outdoor climbing room. Also there is a 7th floor cafe overlooking the dive tank.

Finally here is one picture of the stadium and the extreme sports building in the background which you can see the cafe at the top overlooking the stadium.

I read something which said the special thing about English grounds is that away fans are usually quite prominent, and that contributes to the atmosphere. Whereas in foreign grounds they're always in ye gods and that detracts from the spectacle and atmos.

The game needs away fans. They are usually more up for it than the home end most of the time.

The current placement of away fans, sharing the south stand, definitely helps to improve the atmosphere. I think some of that will be lost when the away fans are the opposite side of the stadium to the core home fans in the new kop.

Well clearly the away fans are not going to be in either of the more expensive, better sighted, corporate friendly side stands and clearly we can't and won't give away part of the Koo.

I'm sorry mate but this isn't true.

It all hinges on planning permission. Nothing is signed.
We could well be being played to get a better deal for them at Wembley.

And I'm still to be convinced how 2 NFL games a year gives us significant revenue for our team. There are only so many hot dogs you can sell. Each visiting team will want a slice of the pie plus the NFL. And who pays the policing/stewards?

Obviously we won't know the ins and outs but we are looking at 3m to be sliced up. Hardly Brewsters Millions.

Nfl franchise....bigger fish being fried here Dude

What's this talk about us sharing the Olympic Stadium?

Also in OS thread from a spammer site;
EXCLUSIVE
West Ham have tonight revealed that Spurs could share the Olympic Stadium but that it remains “hugely unlikely.”
The Daily Mail chose to re-run the ancient story in this morning’s newspaper opening old and festering wounds among fans.
TalkSport’s Adrican Durham then waded in this afternoon by having Hammers fans give their views and even fining one or to who claimed to have no issue about sharing with Spurs!
However, A Spurs spokesman had already told the Mail : ‘We are looking at all options but Wembley is our preference.’
And this evening a very highly placed West Ham insider told ClaretandHugh exclusively: ” We are tenants, so it could happen. We keep saying we have a good deal, but it’s NOT as amazing as people think.
“Having said that nobody believes it will happen for a moment. From everything we are hearing and are being told it seems far more likely that they will go to Wembley.”

In the very unlikely event of a ground share happening for one season our fixtures will always have priority and the stadium will have the look and feel of West Ham United’s home!”

For high placed West Ham source - read Sullivan's gobshite son, Jack. Readying himself for a career rooted in nepotism.

Tottenham stadium will cause 'substantial harm to area's historic character' claim heritage body

Construction: Tottenham plan to build a new 61,000 stadium that will be the biggest in London Tottenham Hotspur FC
Tottenham's plans to build the biggest club stadium in London is facing objections from Historic England, who believe the north London side's work will "cause substantial harm" to the character of the area.

Spurs revealed plans in July to transform their current home into a new 61,000 all-seater stadium by 2018 - making it bigger than Arsenal's Emirates Stadium which holds just over 60,000 fans - and confirmed the arena would host NFL matches when it is completed.

But Historic England, the public body that looks after the country's historic environment, have expressed their concerns about three Victorian and Edwardian heritage buildings in the area that will be demolished to make way for a wider pavement during the construction process.

A spokesman for Historic England said: "We believe Spurs' latest proposals will cause substantial harm to the historic character of the surrounding area."

Tottenham revealed updated plans on Wednesday that shows fans what their new stadium will look like when it is finished, with four asymmetrical stands being covered in a sculptured mesh

The new stadium, though, means Spurs will have to find a temporary home for the 2017/18 campaign - but they are unlikely to be granted use of Wembley Stadium after Chelsea, who will start work on increasing the capacity of Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, are thought to be favourites to secure a deal.

The Blues will re-develop their current west London home into a new 60,000-capacity stadium, which will see the Premier League champions play elsewhere for three seasons beginning in 2017 and ending in 2020.

Despite Chelsea thought to be ahead of Spurs in negotiations for Wembley, Tottenham are believed to be happy to share the ground with their London rivals - with one alternative being to play at MK Dons' stadium:mk.

But London Mayor, Boris Johnson, recently urged the FA and Premier League to avoid such a situation occurring by finding a way to keep Chelsea and Tottenham in the capital while the clubs rebuild their grounds.

The Mayor told the Standard: "London’s football clubs belong in London. Their supporter base is here in the capital. That’s why it’s important during major stadium redevelopment that London clubs continue to play here.

"I’d urge the FA and the Premier League to do all they can to accommodate Spurs and Chelsea inside the capital as they reshape their homes at White Hart Lane and Stamford Bridge."

I am impressed the Chelsea are starting at the end of the season when they don't even have planning permission
