I think it will be 352 - especially moreso if Eriksen turns up in the starting 11.

Im actually more concerned if Martial plays - he is a good player.

I dont think this would be a statement win if we win but will be an important win to keep momentum

We can absolutely beat them if we just show some fucking minerals and don't lose our shit.

Honestly think it's more about us than them.

We're our own worst enemy in these sort of games.

A strong, tough and resilient approach and we can have them.
Nail on the head.
They were dog shit last season and we got stuffed, twice!
I'll be very surprised if we win.

When Amazon first had one of these midweek fixture lists they staggered all of the games between 6.30 and 8.15 I suppose the thinking was to get more people viewing more games? (Although you can watch every game as live)

Irs a strange one when you consider the Man U fans will be getting back to deepest Surrey very late into the night

This is a good test for us, with comparisons to CL away matches. These are the sort of games you need to get results. Arsenal failed miserably.Richy forced change may be a good thing. We needed to change it a little although his energy and power will be missed.

By sounds of it Ronaldo will be starting. While he has been poor and looked his age this season he is obviously still capable of great moments just like his hattrick against us last season.
A draw would be a decent result but a win would be huge.

I'll never forget seeing Oxford services on the M40 packed out with Man Utd fans after the Manchester derby at Old Trafford. That's when I realised all the jokes about Man Utd glory supporters were all true.

My first visit to Old Trafford was Oct 1972 - went from Euston on a football special.
Of the 12 carriages on the BE inter-city there were 9 full of Man Utd fans and 3 with our lot. Segregated of course.
After the match at Manchester Piccadilly I was waiting for the train back and headbutted in the face by a ‘Cockney Red’ as they were called then. The bastard was about a foot taller than me - his early 20’s and I was sweet 16. Luckily it was not a well performed butt. Cops didn’t want to know.

I think the line-up will be:

Lloris

Doherty

Romero
Dier
Lenglet

Sessengon

PEH
Bentancur

Perisic
Kane
Son

Unless Conte was bluffing in which case 3-5-2 with Bissouma.

Same, but I think shoehorning peri into the wrong side in a front 3 is a bad idea.
I don’t see how that would be the case, as being predominantly left footed he’d cut inside in the same manner as Deki.

He’d be acting as an additional goal threat, rather than delivering in swinging crosses when he’s on the left.

He's right-footed? From what I can see, most of his career playing as a forward has been played from the left, where he did cut in.

Couldn’t get an away ticket.

Couldn’t get a home ticket.

Have managed to get a hospitality ticket in a box full of United fans through a business contact.

This will no doubt end beautifully when I’m shit faced and we turn the bastards over.

When your backs against the wall just imagine all of us behind you in spirit as you muster the bravery to be as insufferable as possible towards them

Everyone talks about Leeds, Chelsea etc when referring to 70s hooliganism. But Man Utd were animals long before anyone else. My Dad tells me of matches at Elland Road against them, where they'd be throwing broken glass over the fences into the home crowd... blokes staggering out with blood down their faces. I never knew about the amount of their fan base always being London though.

The Cockney Reds/London Reds were usually the ones causing trouble at London grounds, they would get to the grounds early because of the logistics, I remember one time they were chased out of the Paxton Rd before the match began never to be seen again
