Thank God this link came in early. I was concerned we wouldn't get our supply of 5000 Malcom on the Middle jokes this transfer window. Crisis averted.

Don't enjoy the idea of "players who haven't quite made it elsewhere". But expect it to be a theme this summer.

Or even Malcom in the middle?. Edit, to be fair I was replying to a previous post that said no more quips about Malcom on the middle....I will get my coat?

We had a choice when buying Moura, as we had a long look at him I believe, but then went with the older Brazilian. Do we really need two Brazilian speedsters?

I like Malcom but its a bit like getting my ballsack and ass crack done at the same time innit. My personal view is that I don't need my ass crack Brazilianed. My wife will think I'm playing both sides of the street.

Can he actually play through the middle, no this is not a shit joke.

If Eriksen were to go could Malcom replace him in The squad, obviously not like for like, but in terms of output and passing?

He is a right winger but he can also switch wings or come inside. Tite his old coach at Corinthians and the Brazil coach, said he had potential as a playmaker but he was never used that way at Bordeaux. At Barca he's been filler and when he has got on the field he hasn't really set the world alight. I think he could be an inside forward but its questionable if he can play deeper in an Eriksen role.

He should have gone to Roma instead of Barca. At least they would have used him.

It's more like players who haven't made it elsewhere as the club signed a high priced "superstar" who must start every game.

Neymar was this as PSG, hence why we got Moura, who in my opinion is the better player.

Malcolm was always going to struggle to break into Barca with both Messi and Coutinho ahead of him. With Griezeman now coming in he has no chance of getting into an attacking role there, but he's still an excellent player and would be a great bit of business for us to wrap up early.

Would also ease the blow of losing Erikssen, as although not a direct replacement he would add some more attacking options for us to cover for him somewhat.

Presumably we'd be able to get him for £20m to £25m?

I think that would be a great deal and since the guy is still young, would retain his resale value if it didn't work out.

Of course Barcelona want to get as much dollar back for him as possible.

Few reports suggesting they're looking for most of the £40 million outlay they committed to when signing.

He's been a bit part player at best and scored only 4 goals.

I think Barcelona are clutching at straws if they think they'll get anything like £40 million back for him.

Much sooner Brandt at a touch over half that price.

Unless Barca really force his hand, i can't see him leaving, especially with a new manager coming in.
