Lucas Moura has clinched silverware just four months after leaving Tottenham in favour of a return to his home nation Brazil. Now he has helped guide Sao Paulo to the Brazilian Cup 11-years after initially leaving his boyhood team that he first made his debut at in 2010.

The way I look at it is our players winning trophies as soon as they move abroad just highlights how much tougher the PL is than other leagues - rather than saying anything negative about our team. It's not like Moura, Ndombele, Lamela, Lo Celso etc. would have walked into the starting line-ups of our top 4 rivals in the PL.

It's far harder to be competitive in the CL / EL when you are battling for the PL title / top 4, compared to in other countries where it's viable to rest key players against Championship / League One level opponents the weekend before and/or after

Man City, Liverpool & Man Utd all had ridiculous strength in depth when they managed to compete for the PL title and also win the CL.

Chelsea finished 6th & 4th when they won the CL and from memory did take risks with player rotations in the PL to prioritise. When is the last time that a non-English team did so poorly in their domestic league but also won the CL?

I've never understood that level of thinking from pundits/'experts' that Kane wouldn't be one of the true greats if he doesn't win stuff. That's mental. It's a team sport.

Yep, would have been much more impressive him leading the charge for us this season rather than going over to the one-team German league.

We will never know what would have happened but he should have started in the CL Final.
