We've already signed him, we are just waiting for the right time to activate his pre contract agreement.

One for the older members there ;)
I just feel sorry for Benzema, he has been waiting for a couple of years for us to activate his agreement

Yes I know which is plan A, but what is plan B?
That's Poch's philosophy. You may want us to shake it up a bit and play 4-4-2, but Poch isn't going to do that. Even if he wanted to, we're not spending £50m+ on someone, and Everton wouldn't sell to us.

We could still stick with 4-2-3-1 but have Kane just behind Lukaku. Alli and Dier in centre, Eriksen left and Lamela right. Dembele is going to be 29 in July so we will need to rotate more. Just a suggestion.

A fantastic suggestion if we had even the slightest chance of signing Lukaku, which we don't, because of reasons previously stated.

Why would we move Kane from a position where he has proven one of the best players in Europe to accommodate a player with lesser ability. Doesn't make sense.

Why? We have the best training facilities in Europe and soon to be the biggest stadium in London. CL football next year and playing a long side a very talented young squad where he would fit perfectly in - and also on top of that we have our Belgium trio as well.

We are a pretty unstable club, wholesale changes every two years, never win anything, won't pay him more than Everton are, etc. I like you Belgian point though. Obviously we see us as a club on the way up with much better prospects but I suspect Everton and their players view us as the same level. Particularly with a new billionaire investor at the helm. Yes we have one too but I'm not sure many are cognizant of that.

Because Kane is versatile and can hold the ball up very well which is what makes him one of the best players in Europe.

I don't think Poch would sign off on this one and I don't think Levy would offer what Everton would want.

That really doesn't make much sense, move one of the best strikers to a position where he's not as effective, seems pretty pointless

Think Everton will sell him because he will want to go. However, it will not be to us (too expensive as back-up and he has ideas about a 'bigger' club). It is a shame if we are considering Benteke. He has refused us in the past and made disrespectful comments about us. Do not need those sort of problems. Surely there must be other options out there because, for sure, we need more strikers.

Kane is a poor no.10, why waste his talent as a striker? He becomes completely ineffective when moved position.

We want someone prepared to be a back up to Kane, and who can also play in wide areas, so this rules out Lukaku and Benteke. Actually, there's a hell of a lot more than that ruling out Benteke. If he doesn't fit a Klopp team he won't fit a Poch one. Berahino is the best fit for us from current PL strikers.

Be interesting to see where Lukaku goes if he leaves Everton. Man Utd seems the most obvious choice, but his history with Mourinho may rule that out.

I agree in regards to Berahino but I don't think he is going to go this summer anymore.

He's one of the best target men in europe not one of the best number 10's. It's better to keep him playing in his best position.

Yet we played 26m for a 28 year old a couple of seasons back who was completely unproven in the PL.

He will go for more than 26m though wont he which leaves us out of that race thats not moaning just an observation.
