So do we think this story about a PL player taking cocaine is United?

Apparently the players and manager went out to a club after an away game before Christmas for an unofficial party. There's been "turmoil" in the dressing room so far this season and results "haven't been fantastic". I can't imagine many managers who would sanction a night out after an away game, or who would want to attend themselves, but given that Ole's first game in charge was in Cardiff where he knows the city it seems to fit pretty well.

Might be total BS and nothing might come of it anyway. But this would be further embarrassment to the professionalism of the player in question if it turns out to be one of the first teamers causing problems for Mourinho.

If we lose to Man U tonight. I am gonna say it's all parts of the plan.

1. We convince Man U board that OGS is the man for the job. And they should offering him a perm deal.
2. We help Man U gain points to climb the table, hopefully they will join us, city and pool in the champions league next season and we can reuse the posters from this season.

See... It's a win-win for us! :ROFLMAO:

Of course I rather take the 3points. Just trying to take a positive spin.

It's anyone else surprised that Phil Jones is only 26? I thought he was about 32 and nearing retirement!
His contract expires in the summer... I can't imagine many sides offering him a deal with his injury record.

There’ll always be one. Football clubs are run by some strange people who only see badges.

That would rule out Poch from the job.
This is one reason why I have always said he will stay with us for now if he gets all the backing he wants, in the reality of our limitations. Poch has a level of control at Spurs that no other top club will give him. One day he will go to Real but he knows there he gets the players the president wants to buy and id just responsible for the first team. At Spurs he is getting the opportunity to shape the whole club

I really think he can do a good job, but for a smaller club. The problem is the injuries.

Just been looking at Man U last few results under OGS and interested to see Herrera, Matic and Pogba have started every game for them. No rotation at all.

And beyond them three in engine room I can't see much depth to be honest, aside from maybe Pereira who I'm not sure has been pulling up trees when called upon - Fellaini was their main cover under Mourinho and he looks like on way out (rightly so probably too as not really a Man U kinda player).

Fred seems to have disappeared too although he's more of an attacking midfielder so wouldn't necessarily see him slotting in to replace Herrera or Matic.

Now looking at injury problems we've had it puts recent results into perspective a bit more about how well you can do when all of your main players are actually fully fit.

They're absolutely stacked in attack mind, but look an injury away from being very vulnerable in that midfield engine room...

Looks like Martial is signing a new deal with them now too, such a shame as would have loved us to have signed him in summer could have provided some cracking attacking options up top alongside Kane and Son...

Great point. They changed it up in midfield last night and looked to have struggled.
