I’d like them in the top 4 at the end. Assert our dominance again with an only place to watch Champions League in London ad blitz. Particularly centered around Fulham-Broadway and the Emirates stops.

OGS seems to be doing very well, but I don't get why they need to make a decision now.
Agree. Everyone on TV is making out like they need to get him tied down ASAP but to be honest they've got him until the end of the season either way, and it's highly unlikely the likes of Real Madrid or someone are going to come out of the blue and poach him from under Woodward's nose, so there's really no reason at all to make a decision right away. May as well wait until the end of the season and see how things are going. Despite going on a good run of form, I'm still not convinced he's done anything to suggest he's the man to rebuild Utd up to their former glory over the next 5 years. Poch is still a far better candidate than OGS if they think they're able to get him. Fortunately for us, it sounds like Poch is happy where he is for the time being.

What we have to take into account is, the very same press who are saying that OGS is going to be given the job permanently, were not long ago reporting that the players have been pushing for him to be given the job.

If we are to believe the permanent contract thing, we must also believe the player thing? They're getting contracts signed, their superstar (Pogba) is happy & saying great things about the coach, yet he wanted out of the club a few months ago.

The 'important' players seem to very much enjoy things as they are & I think the club would be stupid to ignore that.

I never said they should ignore him and what he's been doing so far. I just said I don't see any reason why they need to rush to give him a permanent contract right away rather than decide at the end of the season. Personally I think long-term Poch is a better option for them than OGS, but obviously I respect that others, including the board, may now disagree. But I still don't see why that means they should give him a deal right now. There's very little reason for them to do that. LIke I say he's not going to take another job while this is still very much on the cards either way

No I know what you were getting at buddy, sorry I wasn't clear about that in my response.

Basically I took way too fucking long to simply say, signing OGS at this point shows those happy, new contract signing players, that the manager they're happy to play for is staying.

It's sort of the club listening to the players (but in the opposite way that Chelsea do) if you get what I mean?

This results in happy & focused players as they desperately try to get the restart fire them to the to 4.

I suppose so but at the same time, to play devil's advocate a bit, you could make the argument that keeping the current arrangement for the time being might inspire the players who want him to stay to keep working hard and getting results and making sure they finish top 4 so that it makes it harder for the board to not keep him on permanently come the end of the season.

I think United were the better team before 2nd half. Two subs before and after put them in a disadvantage as Mata and Sanchez is nowhere near the pace and attack ability that Lindgard and Martial posses
PSG are much faster going forward on counter attacks
