I wasn't aware that he had gone.

I would say that is quite a major blow to the dippers.

Nearly as newsworthy as Pochettino quoting he would leave if we won just before our semifinal.

At least the media are not biased and did not focus on this like they did not focus on Buvac ACTUALLY leaving.

Oh, hang on...........

He left about a year ago.

It's really weird the way he left all of a sudden just before last year's final. I thought he had another job lined up already.

To be honest up until a year ago I didn't believe Liverpool were a worry, I thought they didn't have the key players they needed to succeed. Fair play to klopp and the club, they have signed the players they needed to really make the jump to a top club.

They have signed the right players in the right positions and have some cracking players, I would love mane and TAA in our squad right now.

Their fans are more insufferable than ever but they are going about it the right way as a club.

I didn't think I would ever say this but we now need to go about it the same way, sign the right players in the right positions now.

We have everything in position to really go for it, if we go big and soon we could be looking at challenging them and city for the title next season.

If we continue like we are, we will not only be in another year of transition, we could even lose our manager.

We could win the cl, 50/50 in my book, but if we don't do it right this summer we will be on a downward spiral.

Eriksen, Toby and big name signings are a must. Developing youth is also a must.

This is a huge summer for us, I know poch knows, hopeful our board do too.

Imagine if/when we beat them in the CL final. Will be interesting to see if the media reaction is to focus on our incredible success or mourn Liverpool’s defeat.

Preparations for Liverpool's title celebrations are tentatively under way at Anfield
People are going to get angry about that but imagine the logistics involved! You've got to plan these things...

Apparently it's partly our fault Liverpool didn't win the league...

The draws didn’t cost us, you get the odd bum result in a season. We either lost it because we couldn’t beat city in the head to heads or... the other clubs, especially the other top 6, really fell short in giving it a go against city.

and these beauties...

They invested on the pitch we invested off the pitch. But as you say really hope we add a minimum of 2-3 top tier players this summer

In fairness they invested off the pitch too with a massive new stand. Obviously it’s not as big as an investment as our stadium but it still cost a fair whack.

I don't have the first clue how to post tweets properly but if you want to see a few folk having a pop at someone then find Dan Walkers tweet.

The internet never fails to cheer me up, even when I am having a bit of a shit day (personally!)

I just think our investment off the pitch will still be more profitable over the next 20 years ON and OFF the pitch. They spent £330M on new players over the last 2 years, and still couldn't get that league title. Over a longer period of time we will be more likely remain competitive against out top six rivals than they will. Still have to push on now and sign some top tier players but hopefully we will be a better proposition to some who may have not have considered joining us previously
