Oh come on, he's earned that accolade for that one night alone, not to mention the affinity that he clearly shows for the club.
Is he one of our best ever players? No, of course not but sometimes it just takes one special moment to cement your place in history and for me, Lucas deserves that.
That goal was the epitome of him and the perfect goodbye.

Nice finish to an awful season. Not making even the Conference League after the best start in the PL on points is a collective disgrace from the club, and many decisions and changes need to be made, starting immediately.

Kane obviously motm, outstanding again and clearly the best player on the pitch. Nice for a couple of the youth getting some minutes. And a great finish for Lucas. It would have been awful for his last major contributions at the club to have been major fuck ups. So I'm glad for him.

Ultimately though, its been really bad. And just hope with all hope this club sorts it shit out in the summer. And we may have a season to look forward to next.....COYS

The whole concept of ‘spurs legend’ is arbitrary. Lucas provided a legendary night for the club. Does that make him a spurs legend? There is no right or wrong answer. Decide for yourself.

If that’s how you define a legend fair enough. He’s been pretty much an average signing, mostly not performing. You want to take one result as a *legend* that’s up to you, for me no, nowhere near a *spurs legend*

Horses for courses, and opinions and assholes. I’m pretty sure if u told another football fan Lucas was one of our legends like Hoddle, Greeves or Kane they would look at you a bit funny.

Of course he's not a legend in the same way that Greaves (spell it right mate), Hoddle or Kane and nobody is suggesting that he is.

What he is, is a legend for that one particular moment that he gave us, probably the best moment most of us have had for many a year.
He's a legend in the same way that VdV, Ginola and dare I say Freund are. They are legends because of the way they understand the club and for the way the gave us some wonderful moments.

Football isn't just about longevity and records, sometimes it can be about that one thing, in one match, that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
