All said and done, a nice way for Moura to sign off and Kane getting 30 goals was another fantastic feat!

But the overall sentiment is relief the season is over but then you realise just how much needs to be sorted over the summer…..

No European football allows some much needed ingraining of what I hope is a radical shift in ethos - we’ll see eh?!

Shame about no Europe but at the end of the day the table doesn’t lie. 8th best is what we were. Really need a deep FA cup run next season. No excuses. Go all out for a domestic cup, bring winning ways back to Tottenham.

We should definitely not be happy to miss out on Europe. Yes, there are positives. Hopefully the new manager makes the most of full weeks of preparation. Hopefully this is finally a wake up call for the board to fix the shit situation we’re in. Hopefully we get a huge clear out and refresh of the squad. But we’re in no position to turn our noses up at Europe and a trophy which we’d have been favorites for (yes I remember what happened last time we were in it), considering we haven’t won anything for 15 years.

Lucas is a Spurs legend?? Fml.
Oh come on, he's earned that accolade for that one night alone, not to mention the affinity that he clearly shows for the club.
Is he one of our best ever players? No, of course not but sometimes it just takes one special moment to cement your place in history and for me, Lucas deserves that.
That goal was the epitome of him and the perfect goodbye.

Just enjoy the moment.

Quite thematic of the season so far.

We are mediocre in possession and movement, wasting opportunities on the transition and gifting the other team chances through individual errors.

Luckily Harry Kane bailing us out (so far) with his typical clinical nature.
Should have had a couple more.

If that’s how you define a legend fair enough. He’s been pretty much an average signing, mostly not performing. You want to take one result as a *legend* that’s up to you, for me no, nowhere near a *spurs legend*.

Right, thank fuck that's over. Now we can get down to the proper business of spending all of the summer trying to squeeze Bristol City out of a million quid for that right back who had a couple of decent games in the cup.

He will be a legend, because he gave us a moment we may never get.

That's all football is, is a series of moments, feelings and events.
Horses for courses, and opinions and assholes. I’m pretty sure if u told another football fan Lucas was one of our legends like Hoddle, Greeves or Kane they would look at you a bit funny.

You don't have to be an ass when others want to be happy you know.

I’m a bit in different about not being in Europe….Conference League is a realistic cup to win…..but could do without going to random places playing against farmers.
