Tbf Kane did a lot worse when he wanted a move and has been a model professional the rest of his career including under Conte.

Don't know anything about Trossard's character, but don't think this one story necessarily means he's a bad apple.

I know Trossard seems to be top choice for some and I don’t think he’s a bad player but I’m glad to hear this. We should be aiming higher imo.

We have greater needs this window than going big on a forward. We have 4 forwards that it will be very hard to upgrade on in January. A 6 month loan + option / obligation for Trossard to provide attacking cover this season while freeing up resources for priority first XI upgrades (CB, RWB) makes sense to me.
