To be fair Levy used to get players to do this all the time and if he now submits a transfer request Levy is 100% dealing with this
Has he? I honestly can't think of once that we've been involved in this sort of stuff but maybe my memory is failing me?
When?

Is Trossard the d*ck? Is De Zerbi the d*ck? Are they both d*cks?
Whatever happened behind the scenes there is zero excuses for a player’s camp making that sort of public statement. So incredibly unprofessional. Even if Conte really wanted him, which I doubt he does, Levy would probably put his foot down after that.

Should put his value around 10m.
Not sure Conte would want anything with him though, he'll probably talk with Brighton manager as fellow Italian.

I remember when the Modric camp went public with the Chelsea situation, it didn't put Real Madrid off and I don't think they regretted it

I should have included the “is the agent a d*ck?” option!

My interpretation

Brighton want Trossard to sign- he doesn’t sign- Brighton are butthurt and start to phase him out (it’s their prerogative to do so)- the manager has some kind of problem with him due to him not being committed (no contract and the injury claims)- things get out of hand and blow up due to a lack of communication from both parties.

The only thing that’s hard to say is have his agency released this to try and fight his corner a little bit or are they purely releasing it to put a lure out for a move. I think it’s a bit of both but I certainly don’t think any particular party is a massive dick here, it just sounds like your classic lack of communication and things getting out of hand or misinterpreted

If we do indeed sign Trossard, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if it was left until deadline day.

Levy will Levy.

We are desperate for technical quality, first touch, and incisiveness in the final 3rd and in buildup. Here we have an experienced EPL player with proven results in the exactly those areas over multiple seasons.

Our attacking 3rd bench right now consists of the following: Davinson Sanchez, Djed Spence.

I don’t love the temper tantrum, and far from the perfect solution given age, but going to be hard pressed to find a player that would likely have more immediate impact in our attempt this season to progress in FA / UCL and fight for 4th than him that is remotely feasible this month

I can’t see significantly better players actually available this window at any sort of non-insane prices. We’re not going to go plonk 100M on Kvara or Oshimen (and even if we were, no chance Napoli sell this window) or Mudryk or anyone of that ilk. Not going to pay the 60M it would probably take Lester to sell the perma-crocked Maddison. Zaniolo seems to be the one FP/AC want and hard for me to envision Roma selling him this window at all (let alone for anything south of 40M).

if we have better realistic options that are actually affordable and actually for sale and we’ve just done a miraculously good job keeping their names completely out of the media, we’ve got 18 days to go from zero to signed.

Haven't seen this many dicks since the one time I came home and found my wife playing Twister with all the neighbors. It was so weird because I remember thinking “where’s the game mat?”

Leandro Trossard has effectively demanded to leave Brighton this month following interest from Tottenham after a remarkable war of words between the Belgian forward and Roberto De Zerbi, his head coach.

De Zerbi said on Friday afternoon that Trossard had been dropped from the squad for this weekend’s match against Liverpool because of attitude problems.

Telegraph Sport understands Tottenham made an enquiry for Trossard last week and could now accelerate their interest in light of the player’s situation.

Still no update my end but my guess is we aim for someone like Zaniolo and end up with Trossard. Then gives us more money to spend on someone like Porro. I'll say it again, this isn't info, it's purely my opinion.

Sad state of affairs when likes of Chelsea spend like mad, Arsenal looking like taking a punt on Mudryk, while we scrimp around in the bargain basement. Window becoming a bit of a concern, we needed surgery and it aint happening in a hurry, shifting some of our deadwood proving as difficult as ever.

I’d still be amazed if we wanted Trossard after his and his agents actions over the last few days.

Who have they bought/loaned that looks like making a difference for us? Id rather us have a plan than just pin the tail on whatever player Boehly likes.
Arsenal looking like taking a punt on Mudryk,
Look like taking a punt. Yeah they do look like it, but theyve yet to offer whay Shaktar actually want, so its exactly the same as us and Porro really.

Who else of our rivals has done business so far? Liverpool bought Gakpo who United apparently wanted, they're now on to Weghorst?

Yes, we do need surgery, but the failings of passed recruitment aren't going to be easy to fix regardless of how quick we'd all like it to happen unfortunately.
