Probably bloody newcastle once no one else major wants him
That is a good shout, I imagine this is the worse case scernario for him. I think he would lower his wage demands before he got that desperate though

If Inter can’t sell Skriniar at a desired price Lautaro and Bastoni will both become available again im sure. Not that we will go for ether, but Inter will need to sell one of the three. What the agents say is sort of meaningless, it’s down to Inter if they want to force him out, im pretty sure if Lautaro did become available and we did bid then he would come. I doubt it will happen tho as I think Skriniar will certainly go. Still, the next 48 hours could be interesting.

Do we know if it is a hard deadline? Or can they drag it out?

Nobody knows for sure, my assumption is from what I read that they don’t necessarily need the money in the account but as long as they have a promise of funds pending paperwork etc that would work. I could be wrong but I guess we will see if they start scrambling a little later today. I wonder if Paratici is still in Milan, if he is I’m sure he’s been waiting for this point.

As mentioned before, need to watch the Skriniar deal, even we have been tentatively linked with him today and stories about Chelsea being offered a discount. Both of which to me sounds like a good sign Inter are panicking a bit. I have no doubt Skriniar has been offered to us but as good as he is, we have no need for him at that price tag.

I'm not sure about Lautaro himself to be honest, but it is more of the stature of player that I hope we're looking at to lead the line.

Tbh I think we are well beyond links to the likes of Lautaro, Dusan and Chiesa doing much of anything to appease fans. Buying them is one thing, being linked to them means nothing anymore.
We’re linked every window to a possible decent size name but we just don’t manage to get it over the line. We’re really really unlucky on that front.

I could be wrong but Lautaro would seem like the perfect Ange striker. His movement in and around the box is so so good. Obviously he’s good in the build up which Ange doesn’t seem to encourage but if it’s needed in certain games it’s certainly not a bad thing and he’s one of the best around in that regard, his general play is superb

Martinez numbers are decent (21 leagues goals the last two seasons), but whenever I see him, which is limited, he seems vastly over rated in my opinion. His profligacy and decision making when I've seen him play for Argentina (in particular) and Inter are no where near the hype.

Just before the protests on Saturday...
Who that has had enough to actually protest, given the placid nature of PL fanbases, is suddenly going to be placated by a transfer link to a player? Anyone who fits in that probably very narrow that bracket wasn't going to be much use at a protest, surely?
