Id rather have Foyth than KWP though
Skipp is great IMHO
Parrot could def be Kanes back up

KWP has the quality to be a solid long-term back-up for us, whether that’s to Foyth or someone else. Paying nothing for him plus his affordable wages means we have the flexibility to spend big on a starting RB or elsewhere.

My point is that not every academy player needs to be Harry Kane. There’s so much value in having academy players as solid back-ups. Allows us to spend big money for first team stars like NDombele and Lo Celso (knock on wood) rather than constantly filling depth holes with speculative purchases.

Second half was nowhere near as good as the first. Some of the more senior players seemed to be easing their way back into it, and that's being generous. Until that goal Kane didn't look sharp at all, Sissoko a little off the pace, Ndombele did well for the second goal to pick Moura out, but, awkward running style/gait aside, looks nowhere near fit enough yet, and Vertonghen looked all over the place.

Main thing that needs to be taken from it though is Poch.... please stop playing the fucking diamond. Straight away started causing issues.

Overall an entertaining pre-season work out, and a nice way to win it at the death. As a collective they look quite sharp, the first half in particular had lots of encouraging signs, and none of the youngsters disgraced themselves and several can be pleased with their outing. On to the next one.......

Unfortunately I think the diamond is here to stay

Kane. Wondergoal. Thank you very much. Spurs at 4.2 today was a mad price. Lots of promising performances from our young players too #winning. Loves it. COYS.

Really entertaining game.
Thought Parrott had an excellent half, and we looked really sharp in the first half. Moura looked good, and Kanes effort was a fantastic bit of quick thinking. Ndombele couldn't have started better either, with an assist almost immediately after coming on.

I really like Roles. Very intelligent positioning and was really positive in his decision making in taking the couple of attempts at goal. Have the training staff work on his sprinting and upper-body strength and we'll have a Dele Mark II.
