They are now fixing their attack and get Caicedo and Dumfries this month. Probably go for Gvardiol, Rice/Enzo, Diogo Costa and some other promising young kids in summer.

There are probably 100 CBs across Europe who would be a major upgrade for us at CB. Just basic competence would be a massive boost for us.

How we’ve gone 4+ seasons with Dier, Sanchez, Davies, Tanganga at CB and only brought in one Toby/Jan replacement is malpractice of the highest order.

It's so utterly ridiculous to think we are lining this signing up. We never complete signings of this nature. Would be absolutely delighted to be wrong but should be treated with total scepticism IMHO. Being in for a player is very different to getting it done - when do we ever make signings like these?!

But if you don't sign them you end up with 400m+ in available money for FFP. Then you can count that money and talk to your yes-men what a financial genius you are.

Porro, Gvardiol and Zaniolo would be a great Jan window and would suggest that we are getting behind Conte (hopefully), but I cant even begin to hope that this actually happens

We didn't sign Bastoni because he wanted to stay at Inter. We wont sign Gvardiol because Boehly will probably pull 200m or something ridiculous out of his arse.
