That sounds like the most Greek group chat I've ever seen, Daves and Joe aside.

We occasionally think about diversifying but there’s a strict criteria by which non motherlanders are judged (basically, must support Spurs or have been one of my ushers).

What the f*ck's Dave doing on that chat? He had it coming really - classic Dave

Sums Dave up pretty much.

Don't really see why Leeds would sell him now for 10m if there's any liklihood of him being worth double or treble that in a year's time tbh. If we bought him I'd expect him to stay there for a year anyway. 10m buys you next to nothing now.
The reason that most deals involving young player are now stacked in favour of add ons nowadays.

I'm sure they'd rather sell someone else, and only sell Clarke at his peak value as you say, or develop with him whilst becoming a Top 10 PL club themselves ideally.

But it depends what other offers they get for other players, as they'll have to sell someone just to cover new contracts for the younger players breaking through, let alone investing in the team.

Their wages to turnover was at over 75% a year ago, and there's little to no profit to play with to cover it. Losing money in fact.

They've done well by lowering the age of their squad, but they've still got 10 players over 27, none of those stand out as going for big money - except possibly Pontus Jansson.

On the other hand Gary Kelly is his agent, and seems to be steering him towards staying and getting them promoted, which is admirable - I'd like to see them back - though questionable whether he's truly acting in the player's best interests.

If he gets a big injury, he could be out the game, or diminish his potential. If that happens after he's signed a £10m+ 5 year contract with a PL side, he's covered. He won't be on anything like that at Leeds.

Opinion from what heard earlier on, couple months back. They want to earmark one or two high potential players in the 18 year old bracket, to train with first team. If they are impressing, they wouldn’t be loaned back. Come say January (unless still way to go in pre-season) if loan was considered good option then, they would explore. This is not particularly linked to Clarke. Hence my ‘educated opinion.

But if we send he loan back just 1 season he will became only associated Trained player like Dele

Does seem poch's mo that he keeps young players he rates around the first team rather than loaning out. The ones we do loan out seems to be one's he has more or less written off.

It wouldn't make sense to loan back. With Trippier leaving and our home quota of players low anyway we need as many as English players as possible.

Clarke wouldn’t need registered so he wouldn’t make up the HG spot if Trippier were to leave

I’ll be over the moon if we sign this kid, first time I saw him I thought he was special. It’s not just the talent, he plays with style and has that Waddle/ Ginola extravagance about him.

Those two came to mind to me as well, he glides, has good movement and keeps the ball well.

Lol I guess this won't happen if the below does happen:

Tottenham looking to buy a young talent from a championship club who is strapped for money, only for a consortium to pump money into the club, where have I heard that before?

It's things like these that make me seriously consider the possibility that we are all a part of a reality tv series to the rest of the universe.

Not satisfied with simply helping players they are linked with get new contracts, Tottenham has now graduated to helping clubs with players they are linked with get takeover bids.
