How far will this set us back?

As we all know its a big closed season window for Tottenham. When that window shuts we'll know what direction the clubs heading IMO we have to spend within our badget of course but to challenge we have to retain and gather more quality and speed.

Great teams clubs don't stand still...when they do ie Liverpool like anything it will sink.

Its all down to DL now, keep modric & bale & we will be there or there abouts again..

Quick buck them & we will be 9th-6th..

DL wont sell either imo, its a false economy to do so cos they cant be replaced in the short term & that means goodbye CL money for the next 2-3 seasons...its counter productive, their under contract, they stay!

Winning the Europa and top four should be our priorities.
Keep Ade, sign Vertonker, make Van captain,Huddlestone to play a modified Modric role,
Caulker and Dawson to come back,
The emergence of Sandro, development of Walker,insist Bale stays another year or invest his and Modric's money
in the next batch of emerging talents if we can't afford current superstars.
Get the new stadium started.

Current season, some progress made. Just atemporary blip.

Can't wait for pre-season.

I don't think either Bale or Luka leaving is a certainty, Levy showed last year that if he doesn't want a contracted player to leave they won't. Bale is contracted until 2015 and Luka 2016 (if google is to be trusted), so we are in no rush to sell. If we can still bring in players such as Vertonghen and Remy, and possibly bring back Ade, then we should be in a better position next year than we were this.

Not being in the CL is a blow, but it isn't the death rattle just yet.
