If we do sell him, I’ll miss his endless cycle of tugging the opponent’s shirt and then hissying about it when the ref books him, eyes and mouth agape, a brutal parody of the schoolboy protesting his innocence after being caught goosing the school yard cat
Gee Dr Stephen Freund, you use your tongue prettier than a twenty dollar whore :cautious:

Sissoko can at least fill in at RB and RM, and has pace to burn.

Re the psg rumours, surely winks would be nowhere near their best 18?

PSG are an odd team, for all their money they don’t have an amazing squad, think if winks went to France the lesser quality could probably see him become a starter within a short time

I think you seriously over rate Winks tbh

I think you've underestimated the French league.

I thought he had a good game yesterday. The times where we pressed up suited him, and he looked more positive. His interception and through ball led to the pen.

If we can bring someone in or recall Skipp do it. We have a square hole to plug and he isn’t even a circular peg (more like a spork you found in the kitchen and thought yeah good enough) we are trying to plug it with.

Skipps loan is going incredibly well, I think it’d be best to leave him there. We’d need to consider other options, I think.

Depends on if he will play or not IMO. As things currently stand I think he could do more of a job for us next to Hojbjerg than either Sissoko or Winks

We are already one short in CM (just five: Winks, Höjbjerg, Sissoko, Gio and Ndombele). Can't see Winks going unless we bring in two CM in january and that would be very surprising.

Yeah he’s looked good in his last few games. His supposed limitations are massively overblown by some on here.

Really don’t see the point in loaning him to Valencia, like others have said we are short of bodies in the middle. We need to be adding to what we already have in the engine room imo.

It’s all about balance. It doesn’t matter that Winks isn‘t a “creative“ passer, like, say Eriksen, as he has other attributes. Keep him and add more creativity at the expense of Gedson.
