Is he any good? I genuinely dont know... and are the bucks any good?
Do they have the same format as NFL where the worst team gets the best potential players?
I dont know much about NBA but dont think it is comparable to football although I appreciate the sentiment he is saying and personally I agree with him
The bucks have been consistently a good team the past 3 seasons (last 2 they were the best regular season team I'm pretty sure) til the playoffs where they fell short. Kinda like how we were the 2 years with Poch when we were running a title challenge but never quite getting there.
The difference is this season they kept Giannis who is in my opinion one of the best players (possibly only K Durant would be classed as better) but made some trades that fixed up their biggest weaknesses and made them solid defensively especially.
Middleton blows hot and cold, kinda like Son, but he stepped up when things got serious when Giannis was injured in the conference finals and really led the team and Jrue Holiday whilst he's offensively all over the place, his defensive work really made them a tough team to beat especially at home. The last piece in their puzzle is Brook Lopez who really gave them that experience and cool head that they needed along with the other guys.
I've followed the Bucks closely as I know one of their players and they definitely deserved the win.
I did actually come here to post the exact same quote from Giannis that I wish Harry would come out and say. It's 100% the right attitude. It means way more winning with your team than it does just going to said super teams where winning in pretty much guaranteed.
