Hopefully it's just a wind up as they know Spurs fans are on the edge of excitement and it's the perfect time to drive us into nuts click bait territory... ??

If true and it’s big if I’ll take a long, long time to get over it and will absolutely hate to see him in a City shirt.

On the very shitty flip side I’ll probably be able to just about stomach it if we spend the money wisely with such players we are being linked with and some more on top.

I’m finding the constant links totally depressing and want it to end, perfect day would him signing a new contract. ??

If he does go then surely we can wait until after we play City?

Would be heartbreaking having his first game for them against us at home.

To be fair, clemmie moodie has a great history of exclusives with football. For example....

I’d be worried if it was written by Alan Nixon. But Clemmie Moodie the Showbiz editor writing this is weird. Don’t know how on earth she’d get this information. Sounds like waffle to me.

Yeah that’s what is making me doubt it’s validity. As well as the reporter probably being a mate of his brother.

Dog shit source, but it would explain why we're seemingly splashing the cash.

Really hope it isn't true though.

It's really not a dog shit source unfortunately, the Sun have been pretty accurate re our transfer dealings over the past few years

It doesn't sound like a story she would simply make up either.

Close to signing Romero from Atalanta apparently :D

Ah OK! Be typical Spurs to sort out the defence and fuck up the attack.

We'd need to fill the 33 goals and 17 assist hole that Kane leaving will create as well as the 16 goal and 3 assist hole left by Bale.

Its gonna be a really build rebuilding job this season if it happens as I don't see how you replace 49 goals and 20 assists from 2 players in one window.

The sooner this “one of our own” narrative dies, the more easily I will rest having seen first hand what bollocks it has always been and how it was carefully natured by club and Kane (and his brother) to boost his reputation

Yup, losing Bale and Kane in one summer would not be ideal.

That's a hell of a lot of goals/assists we would need to find from somewhere.

Was starting to get pre-Bale 2013 vibes from the last few deals. Was basically the last time we got a bunch of deals completed (or almost completed) really quickly.

Really hope this isn't true but would explain a lot. Would be devastated.

I don't blame him. The last three years have been an utter shit show. Pulling the rug from under Poch with no investment and then the absolute freak show that was Mourinho. Let him go. Let him win things. We can't compete with sovereign funded oil states. It's disgusting on every level but that's where we're at.
