Funny thread this.

Hopefully we'll sell this clown in the summer though can't see Seville taking him back.
Our squad has moved on light years from this signing. As others said made some good performances at times last year but wildly exposed by the system and speed of our game.

Hopefully somone like Stoke, Palace etc might see the value in having him for big games where they will sit deep and break. Probably one that Pulis will look at again this year.

I doubt even someone like Barnsley would see any value in him tbh.

Back up to Kane......

Seriously though would it not be better to keep him than buy another CH at the moment when we have Wimmer and Dier as back-ups, CCV and potentially Dominic Ball? Do we need to buy another CH when they have very little chance of first team football? Especially if we have to just about give him away.

At the time, calling him a clown before he had even played a game was stupid.

Now..errr...

I know, and to be fair it's a stupid thing to do. Though, to be doubly fair, I was basing my opinion on a friend who lives out there and pretty much watches all of their games live. I trust his opinion and sadly he was right. Though it was clear after a few games of me watching him that he is a sub standard player.

Go back one page on this thread and he's getting plenty of praise. We don't need him now but he put in some decent performances. He seems to be a favourite whipping boy.

He's not a bad player, he just doesn't suit our style of play at all. I think he'd be great at a club like WBA, or even Leicester.

I actually forgot he was still with us - must be looking a move this summer surely.

Getting praise from people who don't know their arse from their elbow. Seriously, you had people saying he's better than alderwireld before we signed tobi

Everyone is wrong occasionally and everyone has a blind spot no need to be a knob about it.

There's wrong and there's bat shit crazy. The latter should be pointed out if people are still insisting he is anything but a train wreck of a footballer.

He was a decent player, never right for us though. Had a poor loan spell, after a successful few years at Sevilla, somethings not quite right. Still someone will take him. I mean he is good in the air at least.

You aren't giving them the chance to say they we're wrong though you are picking them up on their posts before he signed which isn't fair.

As thingy said above, you only have to go back one page to find he was getting a lot of praise. Things like "the defender we've been crying out for for years"

Come on, you must find that funny? It's all a joke. I thought soldado was going to be the nuts and defended him to the end. Like you say we're all wrong from time to time

I do find it funny yes and I once proclaimed that Mido was going to be the next big thing and that Sandro would play for Real Madrid after he left us.

Like I said I just think the accusation that those who thought he was good didn't know their arse from their elbow was a bit off as we are all ultimately just blokes in a website chatting shite with limited knowledge.
