I know, and to be fair it's a stupid thing to do. Though, to be doubly fair, I was basing my opinion on a friend who lives out there and pretty much watches all of their games live. I trust his opinion and sadly he was right. Though it was clear after a few games of me watching him that he is a sub standard player.

Clearly lying, doesn't have friends ^

I do find it funny yes and I once proclaimed that Mido was going to be the next big thing and that Sandro would play for Real Madrid after he left us.

Like I said I just think the accusation that those who thought he was good didn't know their arse from their elbow was a bit off as we are all ultimately just blokes in a website chatting shite with limited knowledge.

To be fair, you were pretty spot on with that. Have you seen the size of him lately?

As thingy said above, you only have to go back one page to find he was getting a lot of praise. Things like "the defender we've been crying out for for years"
You may deny it but there was a time in the 14/15 season where Fazio was playing quite well- think we lost 1 in 9 with him and JV at one point. I believe the posts you are referring to were written during that time.

He's not a bad player, he just doesn't suit our style of play at all. I think he'd be great at a club like WBA, or even Leicester.
Leicester are the champs so that would be an upgrade for him. We can't give him away, he is awful.. Maybe one of the Chinese clubs would be dumb enough to buy him.

It's gone under the radar but apparently Fazio has been outstanding for Roma this season.

Yh heard that before :). This is why we need to be careful with signing players from foreign leagues... Fazio is excelling at walking football but looked a fish out of water in the fast paced EPL.

good news is they will likely trigger the option at 3.2 million euros + a 1.2 mill loan fee so it isn't a total wash on his transfer fee of 7 million
