My all time favourite is Gazza v Arsenal hands down. Others popping into the dome now worth mentioning -

Klinsmann debut header v Wenesday in the purple kit

Sheringham winner at Anfield in the cup

Ginola v Barnsley

Ginola v Leeds

Woodgate v Chelsea

Lennon v Chelsea when we finally beat them at home and Keane skinned Boularouz

Lennon in the 4-4

Edman at Anfield

VDV first goal where he celebrated with that granny in the crowd

Ziege free kick v Arsenal

Mabielza (sp) v Leicester

Bale v West Ham

Vertonghen at Old Trafford

Rose v Arsenal

Modric v Liverpool

Ginola v Leeds

Stalteri v West Ham

Loved Ziege!

Hahaha, mate. I laughed at that. I also loved that part. I wish it was on video because its amazing he did that. Loved VDV so much. Technically one of the best players we've ever had.

When you Google this, the top find is "Ricky Villa Goal" not which one or when, or which team, which just goes to show the quality that is was and still is. None better.

I preferred his one very Barnsley. That memory always stands out for me when I think of Daveed
That was sensational, his best goal, but that I had to hear live on the radio and see highlights of later, v Leeds I was there just willing him to get one he deserved.

My favourite goal is probably Crouch vs Milan as I was there but one of the best goals was VDV's 2nd away at Villa when we broke from our box with Bale down the right who passed to Lennon on the left and back for Rafa to finish.

My top 10 goals would probably be mainly made up of goals from Hoddle - scored some beautiful goals for us

Ginola v Barnsley sticks out in my mind. Not the best technically, but one that holds some nostalgic weight for me.

That Kaboul celebration did my head in and said it all about spurs at that time. Celebrating a draw at home v Villa like we won the world cup. Pick the fucking ball up and back to the kick off!

Works for the scousers. Oh.

My vote goes to Pedro Mendes #neverforget. When the FA corruption reckoning comes I hope he gets it back.

Vaguely remember posting this once before. Might have even been on this thread ages ago but buggered if I can be bothered reading through to check.

My first visit to The Lane. With my 11 year old best mate at the time, who supported Liverpool. He cried. It felt so good.

Stood on the shelf that night, the ground was buzzing with amazement for quite a while after he treated us to this…….

Anyone not knowing how good he was, he did almost exactly the same thing against Forest shortly afterwards, IIRC the goalkeeper (Aleksic) drop kicked it, someone (Chris Jones?) headed it on, Gerry Armstrong won the next header and Hoddle volleyed it in. I'm pretty sure the ball didn't touch the ground from goalie to back of net…... :D

was you that guy that jumped for joy and smashed my foot:devil:

Still love Tainio's goal against the Pikeys when Lennon sets him up with a really audacious back heel and Teemu just volleys it in....that's one of the classiest goals of the Prem era IMO.

Also Huddlestone's half volley away at City - such beautiful technique.
