Says it all when Woolwich, instead of singing about their club, sing about us instead, moments after the final whistle.

Broken.

Broken club.

Broken fanbase.

Broken.

Bloody hell...

Over the past few months....

The one time I didn't want Chelsea to muck it up...

The one time I actually want Chelsea to win a *beeping* match...

The one time i would be happy to see them lifting a cup.

They blow it.

:banghead::mad::cry:

Regardless Wenger in or out... He got them a trophy this season. Hopefully he says.....

I know...

The same people that you never ever see on a thread AFTER a Spurs win. You'll see them in the match thread, claiming we're not good enough if we're not 3 up by half time, slagging off a player for a poor pass or for not hitting a 100% conversion rate.
They'll bang on about how our best players will all leave, then disappear entirely once we've won.

They're not supporters, they're tossers.

There were so many haters at the start of the season .. Eriksen, Sonny,Walker to name a few who were slagged at every opportunity. Like Bale in his early days at WHL

FA Cup much devalued this season...
the evil of 2 lessers
Russians don t deserve double
They didn’t deserve to beat us in the cup!
They got fully deserved sending off
with any luck AW will stay on and mediocrity will reign.
Devalued??? The strongest semi final line up in years and THIS is the year it's Devalued???

From an emotional perspective, I would rather win the FA-cup than participating in the Champions League. The joy of celebrating a title is superior to the feeling of getting knocked out in the group stage of the Champions League.

But on the other hand, participating in the Champions League will problably give us the foundation to build something better and improve. But in the end, I feel that it has to lead to something. I don't want participating in the Champions League to be our title. But I guess time will tell.

I look at it this way:

For us to win the FA Cup or the League Cup, we don't have to be a team at the top end of the table. Historically we've been a club who win cup competitions and that's with far inferior players than the current group. Cup games are one-off knock-outs. On the day anything can happen. Then factor in luck of the draw among others intangibles.

For us to become a club who regularly compete at the top end of the table and win titles then we have to be in the Champions League. Higher standing > more revenue > better players and the experience of playing at the elite level.

The two most definitely can co-exist and while Poch has done a tremendous job of the latter which long term leads to better things than a day out at Wembley, there's no doubt we have a monkey on our back regarding trophies. We've had good enough squads since 2008 to be up there as one of the favorites but on the day when it mattered we haven't lived up to the occasion. That has to improve.

They turnover their major players virtually every season. What they have done has been remarkable. They don't just punch above their resources they believe they are above that level, something which we do not.
Something YOU do not. The rest of us believe we will win the title soon.

But then you're no Spurs supporter, you never have been. Every whingeing, whining, detrimental post you aim at this club is proof positive of that.

Just do one.

Royally pissed off.

We've had a great season and still all I can think is 'Spursy' at best, or @Hazardousman conspiracy theorist at worst

When 'success' is in our grasp it always is snatched from us it seems, and it's hard to accept. I'm absolutely gutted

Who else has ever had a squad full of players poisoned with dodgy lasagne?
Who else would be denied a champions league place by a much favoured team who had the benefit of playing a final in their own stadium?
Who else would spend almost the whole season ahead of the usual suspects, to be pipped to the title by some inbreds?
Who else, having finally finished ahead of their 'local' rivals, would still end up with less trophies and therefore less bragging rights than them?

I've always been one of those who is not remotely convinced elite sport is at all honest. A team sponsored by the competition sponsors has won 3 out of the last 4 competitions? Hmmmm. When the dominant champions don't turn up at all against an injury hit squad with a double on the line? And have a player sent off for a dive, yet same player, stadium and offence and somehow a penalty is awarded, by a referee that has had previous with us in the exact same fixture and venue 5 years ago and shouldn't have even been appointed by the FA. Completely unfair, and typical that the goons should get the breaks we don't, yet again. When Costa scored I said to the missus, goons will score straight away, there is absolutely no doubt about it. Call it ESP, or something fishier, certainly call it spursy, as well as utterly shit defending.

What's more, why do certain teams and players only turn up against us? Hazard really hates us don't he? He was disgraceful today, he'd completely given up on the game way before the end. Kante is almost unbreakable for 2 years and then that? If that was sissoko we'd be apopletic on here. In fact, Sissoko has never been that bad for us, not by a long chalk. Against us, he'd have been everywhere no doubt, sprouting wings and all sorts. Part of me really thinks the Chelsea players phoned it in to embarrass us, they've had success this season and know they won't be called legends by their mates in the media.

It's certainly not the community shield, nice though it'd be it is a glorified friendly nothing more. It's that for the first time since I was 14, I've been waiting to keep those gooner mouths shut and have some bragging rights and that feelings the wind is changing. I'd rather win something than come 2nd without a trophy, as impressive as that is, and i'm feeling that we are the laughing stock and the poorer relation yet again. Sick of it. This feels worse than Newcastle last year as I felt then we'd fuck it after the Soton loss at home. I was convinced Chelsea would beat those horrible gooner pricks.

And they've done my acca, was on for near £200. Fuckers.

Ridiculous story : Old guy in work is Arsenal mad but doesn't know one end of a betting slip for the other, anyway he asked our resident gambler to put £20 on Arsenal to win, and I suggested Sanchez first goal and Arsenal to win 2-1 , so immediately he said yes do that and of course we all laughed , who's laughing now ? it was 50/1

Whatever Chelsea had today it was worse than dodgy lasagne. They were an abysmal and an absolute disgrace. Arsenal can brag but beating that lot, Sutton and Lincoln does not make them world beaters.

You can believe all want, the facts are we haven't won any silverware in decade and teams that finished well behind us such as Manchester United have won more in 12 months than we have in the PL era despite having an inferior side. We have just seen a mediocre Arsenal side win the FA Cup with a depleted side but that doesn't say anything about us though right?

Now what is odd is that the ire is actually directed at those who draw attention to this rather than at a club who has an an abundance of talent but isn't delivering on this with regards to silverware, especially when a number of Inferiour sides are.

Some pie in the sky comments here and makes us look even more pathetic to be honest. Arsenal have been winning for the last 20 years. They still have a good squad. And can win a one off game. Chelsea probably partied a little too hard or lost their edge after the pressure was lifted on them winning the league. The three at the back has been as much a revelation to Arse as it was to Chelsea as it actually suits their style of play ant footballers. Be thankful they only switched to it when it was too late. We've had a great season. Don't forget that fella. We finished 11 points ahead of them over 38 games. When we weren't given a cat In hells chance at the start of the season. Progress is good. We need a trophy. But we are on the move. After decades of standing still. So hold your nerve. It will happen.

I wouldn't for one second swap our entire season for one day winning a trophy,
HOWEVER, that doesn't stop me being jealous on ANY day that our rivals or sides that we are better than win a trophy...
