Well that sucks.

They fully out-played Chelsea. When you get under Chelsea's skin, hassle them and harry them, they panic. Very one-dimensional. Fresh legs of Hazard and Costa won them the S/F and one game a week the whole season won them the league.

Get the League Cup in the bag next season - the first trophy to win and the easiest. We know how far we've progressed in the last few years but that's the one monkey on our back. Just end this 'you haven't won anything' shit once and for all and take it from there.

It
Arsenal would swap this cup win to be in the Champions League next season. Even though they wont admit it. Their sense of entitlement towards the top 4 will not allow them to take too much pleasure in this win. Just remind them what day they will be playing on next season.

From an emotional perspective, I would rather win the FA-cup than participating in the Champions League. The joy of celebrating a title is superior to the feeling of getting knocked out in the group stage of the Champions League.

But on the other hand, participating in the Champions League will problably give us the foundation to build something better and improve. But in the end, I feel that it has to lead to something. I don't want participating in the Champions League to be our title. But I guess time will tell.

If we win the League Cup it will be "that's a mickey mouse cup". Same with the FA and UEFA cups. We can't win with our detractors as there will always be a reason for them to knock us. Quite frankly they can go fuck emselves.

So...

Chelsea bottled the double?

Or are the usual suspects using this as YET ANOTHER reason to have a pop at the club the claim to "support?"

It sucks that Woolwich have won the FA Cup more times in the last 4 years than we have in the last 36.
Edit. Same amount of times. Oops
It sucks that Moses get sent off for doing what Moses does and cheated us in the semi.

Sanchez handballs suck.

Chelsea legends.

Cheats DO prosper.

Time for some beer.

A club that has lesser resources than us but somehow manages to compete on multiple fronts and be successful. And yet I keep on hearing how this is supposedly impossible for us to do.

Who, atletico? If we could spend a generation part buying players through third party ownership it would be easier

I didn't want to play in the charity/community shield because if we lost that meaningless game it would add more pressure on our Wembley record. The media would have jumped on that. At least now the first game of the season there can be a league match.

Not in my opinion it hasn't. I don't particularly care what other teams are doing. But then I also don't go on Twitter and Facebook giving it large like some of our fans do.
Agree 100% Other teams winning trophies does not take away from anything we have achieved this year. It was a knockout competition and so were Utd's triumphs. I'm gutted we didn't win the title but I'm over the moon we finished second

They turnover their major players virtually every season. What they have done has been remarkable. They don't just punch above their resources they believe they are above that level, something which we do not.

Same people popped on as soon as United won the Europa league too.
I know...

The same people that you never ever see on a thread AFTER a Spurs win. You'll see them in the match thread, claiming we're not good enough if we're not 3 up by half time, slagging off a player for a poor pass or for not hitting a 100% conversion rate.
They'll bang on about how our best players will all leave, then disappear entirely once we've won.

They're not supporters, they're tossers.
