Scum applied themselves well and were properly at it. Chelsea hardly turned up.
Anyway, consolation is Wenger announces he's staying and we have two more seasons of guaranteed lolz on arsenalfantv.

We've done a lot of very good things this season which will contribute to us being able to win things in the near future imo.
The most important is finishing strongly under pressure and banishing last season's turd of a finish.
Critical psychological hurdle which stands us in good stead if we get in that position again with a chance at the title.

I agree but we need to see the bigger picture of what we are building. If we can remain in with a shout until we
transition into the new stadium then we will be able to compete financially and that will always give us a chance of winning stuff. We will have our day.
Who cares about a Charity Shield game. It's worth as much as the trophy Janssen lifted in Hong Kong yesterday. Nothing at all What's more annoying is that Arsenal sucks this season and still win a title. Even though te FA Cup has lost some of its former glory, it's still a nice title. We have nothing to show for our efforts. Yes, a second place is nice, but if it doesn't lead to something better in the long run, it's kinda pointless. I want a title so bad (but not Charity Shield).

I know some would, as trophies are the be all to some supporters, but I wouldn't swap personally.

Mate mentioned that Arsenal had no hope this morning, and I replied that Chelsea probably wouldn't turn up and would get someone sent off. Fucking football gods.
They didn't deserve to get past City in the semi but thems the breaks. They wanted it more today, ah well.
Their recent FA Cup form v rest of season form is utterly bizarre to be honest.
