Basically Spurs aren't giving up many clear cut chances. The shots they are conceding tend to be from range or bad positions. Look at the Wolves game, they had lots of shots from outside the box but not a lot else.

Conte on Spurs transfers

Antonio Conte has confirmed today that Tottenham are working on incomings and outgoings before the summer transfer deadline.

"For sure there are players who go out, and we need players to come in. The club know very well the importance for me to have a squad with a couple of players in every role. We want to make every player happy, but we have to make the evaluation for our club and our team.

"There are players in the plan, there are players we want to play more regularly. We want to find the best solution for the club, the team, the players.”

So it's basically one if Gil leaves and one if Tanganga leaves by the sound of it as we seem to be covered in every other position

Don't know where this kind of content should go, so I'll put it here.

That resistance work with the volley looks tough!

That video showed how good Tanganga is defending a 1-on-1 .. quick feet. Would have liked to see him up against Kane. Gil also looked good.

It's strange how many times Kane looks like he missteps but can still get that Extra yard

I think it's part of his technique. He over steps and shoots behind to the far corner when the defense goes with him. If the don't go with the step, he finished near post. He also shoots quickly without any real backlift. And he can do it with either foot. Makes him so hard to defend as he doesn't give defenders the usual cues they read to tackle/make a block.

Totally agree with Conte's comments about new signings being thrown straight in.

Seen many times players look good on their debut or for a couple of games later and then just fizzle out as they are no longer playing on that 'new adrenaline'.

It can lead to a loss of confidence and a steeper hill to climb.

Bissouma and Spence will be better off for this patience and slow integration.

Will people ever call him out. Pressed off the park by Forest like we were against Chelsea. Not good enough at all.
They can press all they want but never had a huge chance. We dealt with everything they threw at us and if it weren't for Kane's missed pen would've cruised the last 30 minutes

We let them have it because we can defend and force them into difficult chances while we counter and score the goals. We weren't pressed off the park whatsoever.

That can press and have the ball all they want, can even take it home with them (as Jose said) irrelevant if they do nothing with it and we win

At some point we will get found out playing like this. I don't like it, it was the same under Jose and in the end we lost control and fell down the table.

Perhaps we are trying to edge our way into the season, but our pressing was non-existent and we failed to control the game for large periods of it.

I defended the team earlier on this year against people calling us a counter attacking side, as at that point we were more than that. This season though, we have well and truly become one. We look awful with the ball and a few out there look clueless of what to do with it at times (Sanchez and Emerson the biggest offenders today).

I can appreciate being hard to score against, however I'd rather it not come at the expense of good football. There were a good few chances today for Forest to score and better teams would.
