That 11 out there today should beat Sheff United second 11.
Not really, not one of them is a player that makes us better. Individually they look good enough but I wasn't too surprised by their performance as a team. It looked very early on that we were seeing the same sort of display as the conference league. Trouble is they don't show the desire to win games and Sheff Utd play it like their cup final. We looked very casual from the start like we thought we were too good for them. We just didn't have the likes of Kane and Romero to pull their level up. We need more players like that who make a difference so when we rest 1 or 2 we still have a few out there. Romero, Bentancur, Kulusevski and Kane are the only ones who on their game lifts the performance of the team. Start with none of them and it's asking for trouble.

Officially Conte out now.

It means nothing as he'll be here until the end of the season but isn't staying. That is obvious.

We may finish 4th or not. The season has been underwhelming.

The system sucks along with everything else at the club bar the fans and our shiny new stadium.

This cup was big for me and I get others may not feel the same.

Stadium atmosphere for two of our biggest games (atmosphere-wise) was absolutely dire.

Our technical ability is so so low save for Kane and last season Son and last season Deki.
Yeah and Romero at the back with Bentancur. Still much work to be done and far off what Poch was blessed with.

Maybe he can get more of "his" players, like Porro, Perisic and Richarlison. They were all great tonight.
Personally i thought Porro was decent and bailed out Sanchez a number of times. Considering it’s only his second start it’s way way to soon to criticise him. Personally think he will be an excellent player for us whoever is in charge.

True. How quickly I’ve forgotten the heady days of Bentancur in the middle.

He is willingly following Levy's philosophy focusing on top 4 in stead of winning titles.
Same with Pochettino. They have no desire to win domestic cups or minor UEFA tournaments.
What is left? Champions League and Premier League which we're unlikely to never win.
There won't be any trophies going forward neither.
Please explain then why Conte was pretty much the only manager from the entire Premier League to not fully rotate their team during 3rd round of Carabao Cup when we lost against 2nd team of Nottingham Forest.

This is fair - he wasn't noticeably bad, but he's put him in twice in two away games next to Sanchez. Seems like a very unfair way to use him.

And when he gets the chance to play next to Romero, let alone a decent CB, rather than Tanganga and Sanchez

OK my view on this, i do find it funny how we win a few games without Conte and its Conte Out as we can do without him, we lose tonight without Conte...and its Conte out, as its his fault.
How many weeks ago were people chanting 'ANTONIO' and 'Levy Out' at games?
Our MAJOR problem is strength in depth in the squad. As soon as you bring in Sanchez as rotation (who can barely stand up properly), and Moura (who sadly his best days are behind him) we struggle.
Myself, i am 50/50 on Conte, but unless we get serious money spent on the squad in the summer, it isnt going to matter who the manager is.

Why didn’t we play Romero?
Honestly should have brought him on as soon Sanchez randomly fell over with nobody on him. I said he would cost us it was so very clear. For that we do have to criticise the coaches.

Is he gone yet? I can't take it anymore.

Recent results sweetened the turd but its back to normal now. Stadium atmosphere is dead and I'm always half asleep before we score (though this might be my sleep deprivation)

I would like Conte to leave because I dislike the football - it’s just dreadful to watch. He’s on £15m and I haven’t seen him improve any player, whilst he is wedded to a single system. We cannot even change it up when chasing a game.

However, this can’t mask the fact the players aren’t good enough. How many cups have we exited with Dier, Davies and Sanchez playing together? Must be in double digits easily.
Not a dig but this obsession with his wages confuses me. Would it be OK if he was on £10M? £5M?

He's either up to the job or not, surely?
