Conte doesn’t desire trophies, aye right

He is willingly following Levy's philosophy focusing on top 4 in stead of winning titles.
Same with Pochettino. They have no desire to win domestic cups or minor UEFA tournaments.
What is left? Champions League and Premier League which we're unlikely to never win.
There won't be any trophies going forward neither.

Let's not act like we didn't lose to teams like Colchester under Poch. We didn't have a great squad then and we still don't have one. This is why we don't win trophies because we never have the squad for it. Under this regime we always leave the squad short and do the bare minimum. It's still Levy out first and foremost. I really don't care who the manager is until we sort this squad out. How on earth we have players who have never been top players in their prime still with the club beyond their prime is criminal.
I care about the manager and I’d like to watch a brand of football that isn’t GOD AWFUL. Think it’s just finally snapped for me tonight.

We can’t just blame the under-investment, we surely have to have enough wherewithal to play something moderately non-horrific. And I include the dross against West Ham and Chelsea.

We beat Chelsea a few days ago, it sucks now but come the weekend and next week it could well be forgotten about. We could still finish 4th and qualify for the next round of the CL. Right now it’s shocking but Conte won’t be leaving until at least the end of the season so there isn’t even any point it getting annoyed about it now. it is what it is. Idk, I’ve just sort of apathetic about us these days.
This one will sting for a while, beat a championship team away and then one at home then you’re at Wembley for a fa cup semi final. It was a golden chance

We have lost to forest ressies, Sheffield United reserves and Boro in his year and can't think of one decent cup game we have won
Our players are miles fucking better than them yet we hardly created a chance and have been shit in all of them

West Ham and Chelsea wasn't dross for me but obviously a matter of opinion (and tolerance maybe). Not doubting it would be great to see us play attacking again but I'm always going to worry when I see some of these players at the back. I still struggle to see who can get a tune from some of them who cant pass their way out of a puff of wind.

Every match is a struggle, everything is negative , even when we win I often feel like we got away with one
This is a crucial point. Maybe others feel differently, but even when we win, I pretty much never think "ah I can see the plan coming together, this is what we need to build on."

It always feels like we've either got away with it, or Kane produced some magic, or we somehow managed a good counter.

We are absolutely horrific when not countering, and we don't even counter particularly well.

Every situation is different but look at how Ten Hag has United playing. Sure, they've made three huge signings. But everyone was saying United were an absolute mess when he arrived. He's won the first trophy available there.

I honestly don't think we've progressed at all since the end of last season. If anything, we've regressed.

I don't believe Bissouma has somehow become awful to the point where he needed months to understand Conte's system, which itself seems to strip our players of confidence. He was beasting opposition at Brighton.

Conte's failed to integrate Richarlison properly too. Yes he's had injuries, but he's had about 600 league minutes, while Son has been undroppable until the last couple of games, despite being godawful week after week.

And Conte only started using Skipp and Sarr after his hand was forced by injuries. Turns out they could have been adding a lot much earlier in the season.

Conte seems to want a squad with depth but properly doesn't use the good options he has.

Our players are miles better? Maybe our best 11 but not the ones we put out for these games.

Stadium atmosphere for two of our biggest games (atmosphere-wise) was absolutely dire.

Our technical ability is so so low save for Kane and last season Son and last season Deki.

That 11 out there today should beat Sheff United second 11.
I'm not so sure about that anymore. Ultimately we are woefully short on confidence, technical ability and mentality.

And, in my opinion, our tactics are too fucking negative and passive.

Our players quite look like they literally have no idea what they're doing individually, let alone with each other.

When you have that combo you're at risk of losing to anyone.

I would like Conte to leave because I dislike the football - it’s just dreadful to watch. He’s on £15m and I haven’t seen him improve any player, whilst he is wedded to a single system. We cannot even change it up when chasing a game.

However, this can’t mask the fact the players aren’t good enough. How many cups have we exited with Dier, Davies and Sanchez playing together? Must be in double digits easily.

Yeah I don’t deny it really sucks. I mean it’s embarrassing really and I’m sorry, that line up should be winning that game comfortably. The only two game changers we dropped were Kane and Romero really. But I’m just trying to take a step back, like I said, I find it hard to feel to upset because I feel there are bigger issues at the club. Don’t get me wrong tho, it’s obviously a massively waisted opportunity.

Our squad is good enough to beat Sheffield United’s second team. The only player that featured in a Spurs shirt today that wouldn’t get into their starting XI was Sanchez.
