Personally and only my opinion, i would go for a PL Keeper, who in my opinion again has been consistent year in year out, you may laugh and yes he will be difficult to aquire, but worth a cheeky bid. He is Brad Friedel. or in fact Jussi geezer of Bolton.

I don't know how many games this chap has played, or what system they play, or how these numbers are taken, but wouldn't you expect your DM to be responsible for more than 10% of your team's recoveries of posession?

Friedel's signed a new contract extension which will keep him at Blackburn for probably the remainder of his career.

Both good keepers, although neither is better than Robinson in his first two seasons with us, but I do take your point that there is an advantage to a keeper already in the EPL. (But then, Bobby Mimms was an EPL keeper.) Frankly, for us amateur talent-spotters keepers are the most difficult players of all to judge, and it's something you can't do via YouTube. Even the experts get it wrong: Keithy offloaded Pat Jennings because Barry Daines was our man for the future :roll:; SAF signed Massimo Talbi and a string of other idiots.

As long as he realises he's not an automatic first-choice and can live with the competition, we need to keep Robbo on board just in case.

And we also need to get the back four sorted on a long-term basis. However good a keeper is, he can only do so much to compensate for crap defending in front of him.

PES 2008 is very unrealistic at times.. I swapped Danny Murphy for Joe Cole. and Chelsea came for Murphy!! :duh:
