Tonight's game is lacking in quality except the goal,

Villa have lots of pace upfront but no brains and their midfielders are lacking in composure so far.

Micah Richards is a poor defender.

Villa have looked fairly decent. Not the disaster that many predicted Sherwood would have

I like their directness. They look a confident team, a far cry from Lamberts Villa, and not afraid to try things. Will be an exciting team to watch this year with plenty of goals, although at both ends I'd imagine.

I thought it was strange he signed that 2 game contract with Utd myself.

I think it's something to do with a march, it wasn't moved for TV.

There will be Friday night games this season but this wasn't originally planned as one.

Was probably changed to give United more preparation for their easy champions league qualifier next week. Heavens forbid they don't get into the competition.

Friday night football was part of the outrageously over priced TV rights deal. It was announced that it would be a thing last year?

So we pretty much get football Everyday if matches are moved because of the CL and EC.

I didn't think it had to do with the TV deal.

Think, in this instance at least, the game was moved because of the Police request due to a EDL rally happening at same time as the match today.
