Both teams looked poor
B'mouth just lack a technical edge and some potency up front.

They did win this game though despite the scoreline.

I like their attitude and think they will stay up once they have acclimatised to the division properly.

Tru dat. For the first season in a long while I don't care a great deal about finishing 4th. We have made huge strides sorting our squad out so all I'm hoping for is that towards the end of the season we are playing with a clear style and hopefully can win something!

I want to finish above Liverpool though lol.

Just can't fucking stand them! My dislike grows every season lol.

No they didn't, Bournemouth were playing away and looked very good considering the lack of EPL experience.

Nah they weren't they were just throwing men forward, just because they play with two strikers doesn't mean they attacked with intent.

They'll finish bottom this season.

I'm really not one for conspiracy, but there must be some unconscious biases at work.

By the rules of the game B'mouth won that game 1 - nil, but it will go in the scorebooks that they lost it.

If they do go down they'll be the team fighting til the last whistle. They're not completely gutless like Sunderland or Newcastle.

What is all this keek? If a player is offside and interfering with play it was offside before this season, wasn't it? Or is this something incredibly new that no-one can understand? Bit like Costa at WHL last season - he was offside and tried to kick the ball in; he only didn't because the ball bobbled!

Maybe the big difference is whether you are offside and interfering with play for a top four team or Liverpool, or just for mere mortals!

Impressed with bournmouth thought they moved the ball around quickly and had real heart, just wished we could be like that on both counts.
Got to say they have a very good young manager who looks like he is going places and knows what he is doing.

Last season it was borderline in terms of what was classed as interfering.
This season they've tried to make it clear by saying that any movement or intent to make contact with the ball means you're offside.... Except this lino couldn't be arsed to follow the letter of the law.
At half-time they debated it and all agreed it's offside, and that the interference was enough to make the 'keeper react, so therefore it's 100% offside.

Two games into the season and already there's plenty of dodgy officiating that makes it all very questionable:

1) Cameron Jerome has equalizing goal chalked off for dangerous play
2) Coquelin could/should have been sent off twice
3) Liverpool goal allowed to stand despite clear offside

Didn't Vardy have a goal disallowed for Leicester on the opening day that was completely legitimate?

Listening to Ian Rush in Talksport this morning, and he struggled to admit the goal should have been disallowed.

BUT The Bournmouth players ELBOW was buried in Lovrens face for their disallowed goal.

You could hear him choking trying to find reasons to believe his delusion.
