I can not believe this poll is close as it is... Honestly makes me wonder on the mentality of those who voted No....

YES we have to stay in Tottenham...Why? Our history is there... I live in south london, always have, and i enjoy the inconvenience of travelling to tottenham, its always been part of my experience.

I can only think people voted for a move away because it is easier for them and not whats best for the club?

I dont understand you NO voters! Im finding it hard to relate to you!

If the question was posed a couple of years back I would of said yes without a shadow of a doubt however now I think it's imperative for the club to be in a position to join the European League when it happens & if that means moving out of Tottenham then as gut-wrenching as it would be, over the history of time when the European Lg is up & running it would seem less important than if we were playing English rivals every week. Hopefully the stadium can be done in Tottenham however if for some reason it can't & doesn't get built, then we should look to build it at the nearest possible location & if it's outside of Tottenham then that's just something we will have to live with. The alternative is to stay in Tottenham & become a yesterday club kicking a ball around with teams like Watford, Leyton Orient & Fulham in a regional championship Lg because when the European Lg gets started it will be the end of the Premier lg & the foreign Tv money that goes with it...who's going to pay to watch a Lg without the top 6-8 clubs in it ?. The new stadium is as much about maneuvering the club to be in a position to be involved in a European Lg when it happens as it does been competitive with our domestic rivals.

No, I have been going to the lane since the 60's and a ST holder for years, you could say it's my second home.

However we really need a bigger stadium and if the only way we can get one is to move so be it.

We should move out for a year and let Tottenham feel the heat of zero match day revenue for 12 months.

Attitudes would soon change.

The wording of the poll makes it hard for me to vote

I am not 100% opposed to moving, I wouldn't be against moving somewhere in London if it was the best thing for the club

But to say it doesn't matter would be wrong, of course it matters - it would be a massive deal to relocate the club.

If there was a much better option to give us a bigger better home somewhere close by then I would support the move however

I think having secured all the land around the stadium that we will surely press ahead with the current plans though

I agonised over the wording, this was the best I could do :(

I'm not criticising - just trying to explain my personal position. I do care, it does matter but push come to shove I wouldn't be against a move if it was a reasonable distance and meant we had a better, bigger stadium to take us forward

I didn't take it as criticism @Shea and I understand what you are saying. I voted no but on the understanding it was still fairly close and necessary for the good of the club and team.

What attitudes? It's the idiots who go to Tottenham once ins while and come away with this idea that it's a shithole who have the attitude! I live 2-3 miles away from Tottenham and go there frequently. It's a shithole when the football is on, full of pissed up wankers, litter thrown everywhere and over populated. This idea that the area needs spurs is just stupid. The shops, restaurants, cafés etc will still be there. People will come and go as normal and chic king would still be there. That place always has queues no matter what day of the week it is.

For me if Spurs moved that would be it for me. As a North Londoner I chose spurs over arsenal because I went to school in Tottenham. It felt right, made sense. If it goes it would have all been for nothing and I will lose heart! Spurs belongs in Tottenham, it needs Tottenham

Personally, I would play our PL home games in the States, China and Japan.

We would get a lot of money to play official PL games abroad and the PL are obsessed about growing the PL worldwide.

This..^

Why we differ from other Cities around the country is that London is unique in having so many league clubs scattered around the capital, this i believe creates more importance on your clubs postcode rather than being from London itself.

It doesn't have to be in Tottenham. We don't have to be called Tottenham. We don't have to have wear a white shirt with a cockerel on it. We don't have to play a certain brand of football. We don't have to keep certain traditions or rituals. We don't have to worship certain players or managers, past or present. We don't have to sing certain songs.

We don't have to have a Tottenham soul. But I'd rather we did or it all becomes meaningless, shallow and I wouldn't love it as much as I do.
