We have bought quite a few players now, and the rebuilding under Juande Ramos has started.

We have a big squad, with many talented players now. Still we need some more quality to add to the squad, but what do we need?

We still have Lee, Stalteri, Rocha, Ghaly in the squad, and all of them should be sold, as they do not seem to have much future at Tottenham anymore.

I want us to keep Kaboul, but it seems like he will leave aswell, and that is sad.

Berbatov is another story. What will happen here? On and off move speculations all the time. If he wants to leave, then get in the money and sign 2-3 young good players for the transfer fee we get for him, I would say.

We do have a good first eleven, but I still think we need to add some players to the squad.

I am happy with the signings so far, but I think we paid overprice for Bentley, and he is not worth it. He is a good player, though, and hopefully he will add some quality and service to our strikers.

If we keep Kaboul, we have a good backup central defender, but if we do not keep him, we have to get a new one in this position.

Another Left winger should be a priority for us, and a player like Diego Capel would have been a good signing, I think.

I think we could have had another central midfielder in the team, as I think Huddlestone and Jenas are too unconsitent . Mahamadou Diarra of Real Madrid would be a star signing.

Lassana Diarra of Portsmoouth would also be a good choice.

Instead of buying Arshavin for overprice, it is much more value for money to buy the players mentioned above. If we need a player behind the main striker, Marouane Fellaini of Standard Liege would be a good one.

I would rather see us signing players like this, then signing players for overprice. We want to produce good young players for our team, but we should use the transfer money we get from sales to do the bargains for the future.

If you saw a little bit in the tournament we played in now, Feyenoord used a few young promising players, and I believe that they have some very good players here.

I have mentioned him before, as he is in the SM site. Georginio Wijnaldum is a 17 year old player, and the one who scored against Dortmund. We have transfer money to use, and I believe that players like him is players we should try to sign. We also have another player in the same team I have been talking a lot about: Diego Biseswar. There are a lot of players like that, who can be signed for a bargain.

Have to disagree with you on stalter,i for the moment at least. At the moment we are down to Gunter and players who "can" play there. And we need Rocha if we don't get someone else in, especially if kaboul goes.

A defensive midfielder that can cover at the back (VELOSO) and a replacement for Robbie Keane (ARSHAVIN)

If Berbatov goes then we need to replace him with SANTA CRUZ

Let's follow other clubs at this point. Liverpool just signed young french striker N'Gog for nothing from PSG.

Lassana Diarra wnas signed from Le Havre for a bargain by our former Director, Frank Arnesen. Diarra is now a France International.

We need to be on the alert, and we do not need to sign players for overprice all the time. Wenger is good at buying young talented players, and it is a shame to see him doing the right things, and we just pay overprice. They even got transfer money when we signed Bentley, and for that amount they got there, Wenger can buy a new future International player. We have to learn, if we are to become a big club playing in the Champions League.

They are in a position to attract these players. We are need to buy players who are further along in their development so we can progress. How many for the future players have made it for us?

Another striker, which will clearly be Arshavin.

Another keeper, anyone but Bywater.

And another centre back.

How can Bentley be not worth it for about £15 million, when Sevilla want £12 million for Capel? Capel has shown potential, but not been brilliant. Bentley created more chances than any other wide player in the Prem last season, so has proved himself capable of playing at the level we need to compete with the top 4. Also, he is far more versataille than Capel and has a far better or more developed all round game. I understand why people want us to sign Capel, as he looks to have a big future, but I think people over rate his current levels.

Arshavin has proved that he is top class in the games against England, in the UEFA Cup and at Euro 2008. Some people seem to really under rate this guy. I keep reading things like he's a typical one tournament wonder type of player who looked good in a couple of games at the Euro's. But that doesn't explain why he was so good in the UEFA Cup or against England. In the last year, how many players in the world have performed at his level consistently in big games? Other than against Spain, virtually every time Arshavin has been on British TV, he's been brilliant. We just sold Keane for £20 million, so to get Arshavin at any price under that is a bargain. We are trying to sell Berbatov for over £30 million, yet has he shown Arshavin's class consistently in big games?

Have you watched Arsenal recently, or looked at their squad? We will never have a better chance of finishing above them and therefore we need to bring in as good as players as possible, to perform at a high standard this season. Bentley and Arshavin are perfect examples of those kinds of players.

We have almost always signed established players for overprice, and that has been the main error for us.

We have now signed some very good players in Gomes, Modric, Bentley, who again can be described as established players as they all are well known players.

Gio is also a well known player, but a young player with a lot of potential. A very good signing, and maybe one of the best we have done lately.

We have given a lot of money for what we call proven quality - hopefully.

I want to see more "hidden signings" behind the scenes.... All the top Clubs do this, and we have to do it aswell. What I mean is young players signed for the academy or reserve squad knocking on the door to get a sub appearance. N'Gog is the new "hidden" player Liverpool have signed, and he has already managed to score for the first team. Baros was their hidden player a few years ago. Fabregas was Arsenal's hidden player along with Clichy, Diaby, Eboue, Toure, etc....

We need to learn!!

From todays game i think we definately need a CB to cover Woody and Ledley.. I like huddlestone but the attackers today seemed to be getting to the ball before him. I think his more suited to CM.
I cant work out if i like Dawson or not. Everytime he gets the ball he thinks his beckam and goes for a 50 yard pass! does my head in when we been keeping the ball for 15/20 passes.

i think we need 4 players though, 3 if berbs stays!

CB-DMF-Arshavin

quality in these positions and we would be looking very healthy for the new season!

Maybe we're happy with the quality of our academy to not need to go out looking for N'gogs, or the likes of that Barca kid Celtic are after... We reached another tournament final today, and there's several youngsters at the club who appear to have potential to make the fringes of the first team over the next few seasons...

After today's Dortmund game I think it's obvious we need another experienced centre back... Not necessarily a signing of similar stature to Woodgate, more a Naybet type, someone with experience who can guide the likes of Dawson when King and Woodgate aren't available...

Even if Berbatov stays another striker would be useful, as a couple of injuries or suspensions could leave us thin on the ground in that area...

Neither of these signings should have to break the bank, maybe £5-7m for a centre back, a bit more for a striker...

Agree with all 3 - I'd also still bring in an experienced CB, like Diaz and we also need a decent No2 goalkeeper too....

I think you may well be right about that, if Gio can keep anything close to his pre-season form and continue to develop he could turn out to be a steal. I think the same can/will be said of Modric. But those are 'ifs', of course. I have the same feeling about Alves over at Boro--who I think has tons of potential in the Prem.

I think we have actually had a pretty good balance between buying more established players as well as younger talent--don't forget that we've brought in Bostock and Mpoku--and Gio!

I've sung Arshavin's praises before; we'll see how he does if he comes--he'll probably get the 'Bent treatment' if he doesn't score 10000000 goals in his first match, regardless...
