Must admit I like the sound of us having some hungry homegrown talents in the side. Maddison has been a breath of fresh air. Gallagher could quickly become similar as an 8, especially if we get the Palace version. Our midfield would be stacked of options with Sarr, Bissouma, Bentancur and Skipp for the 6/8 roles, with Maddison and Lo Celso for the #10. We've seen with Ange he likes to bring fresh legs on in most games so hopefully Sarr continues to get game time as I think the sky's the limit with him.

Much less pressure on Bentancur to be rushed back which is important for his long term future.

Now I've talked myself into this deal it will no doubt fall through at the last minute!

Because he gets what he's given. He doesn't get any say. He doesn't know some of the players already there and doesn't know who the club is signing. It's his own fault for signing for them

I think we will agree deal with Chelsea, but cant see Hojbjerg agreeing to going to Fulham. I will be surprised if Hojbjerg goes there

Tottenham made a verbal offer of up to £40million including add-ons for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.

The bid is £5m short of Chelsea's valuation of £45m for the 23-year-old.

As Mail Sport reported yesterday, the England international is weighing up his future after Chelsea brought in Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia for their midfield.

Gallagher captained Chelsea against AFC Wimbledon and would prefer to stay if he continues to get regular game time but is realistic about his opportunities.

Despite the influx of talent at the Blues this summer, Mauricio Pochettino has started the academy graduate in all three of the club's Premier League fixtures so far this season.
