Presumably we'll have to be prepared for him being absent for a key month every other year at the Africa Cup of Nations?

I mean, if you are talking about pace as in the speed a player runs at (rather than of mind or in decision making for eg) then in my opinion that is not the greatest asset in sport (unless you're an Olympic sprinter..obviously...)

I thoroughly agree that the mental attributes and to what level each attribute is at is one of the most important parts of a tactically based sport. It is in my opinion what separates the world class from the great players.

But if you do not have the physical attributes then you, no matter how intelligent cannot play the sport. Speed and acceleration make everything sport so much easier, you have a much higher error allowance if you have pace.

No, I doubt when we decided to make this multi-milion pound investment this was even taken into consideration - quick you better email the club before he signs a contract!

Pace is unpredictable, it is the greatest asset you can have in sport.

Andros Townsend. Shit.
Aaron Lennon. Unwanted.
Kyle Walker. Unintelligent liability.

There's numerous more examples of fast players that do little else than run reeeeeeally fast a lot but do little else.

In the history of the Prem, we have always played best with pace. Bale, Lennon, Walker, etc. We need 1/2 players that have the attribute.

N'Jie is a speedster. Brainless or not, we will have to judge.

This allied to clever players like Eriksen and Pritchard (who will be like signing a new £15m player imo).

Still need another striker at least though.

So you've watched the player loads then and know exactly what he is like. Also valbuena is not even the same type of player but you know good try. Do you write for the Sun perhaps with that kind of insight
I have family that live in Lyon and actually go to see them play regularly so nice try. But u seem to know so much more about him than me you must write for the daily star or something smartass

In your opinion. The England Manager seems fit to rely on him and he produces for him regularly. Why does everything have to be so extreme?

Excited to get this guy. I think he will be coming in as our third choice behind Martial and Werner but he still looks like a great prospect.

From what I have read and seen albeit not a lot, his first touch let's him down sometimes not every time and that's why he frustrates, because he will get it it spot on and next time he can be heavy with it. I think his passing is also a little wayward and needs to improve but that could be down to him attempting more difficult passes. He has excellent pace can score and create a goal.

I think he will frustrate us at times but were not buying the finished article and if he keeps improving over the next year he will probably be out of range and reach by next year so if we were to take a chance it needs to be now. Which was the same for Martial and Werner.

Were buying a well rated prospect he will have all the
