Chelsea's wins this season have all been against teams in the bottom six and Palace they haven't beaten a top half side otherwise. They are apparently playing well at the moment but the jury is most definitely still out on how good they really are. I still don't rate their defence and am certain we'll score.
As ever they will be up for this game, for some reason it's their biggest game of the season.

can't wait to see the masterclass unfold if we score first. this is one of those don't lose games but a win would be monumental.

I don't think we will be able to keep them out but I do think they can be got at on the counter. I could see it being a 2-2.

I think this is such a hard game to call.

Chelsea are great on the ball and have a very nice possession game, combined with some real talents like Werner and Ziyech. Unlike City, they're not afraid to mix it up, and are far more dangerous from crosses into the box.

However, I also think they're very vulnerable on the break as they commit so many men forward. If you can beat the press and counter quickly and intelligently then they're there for the taking. Mendy and Silva have made them much stronger defensively but if they play a 4-3-3 we can really get at them if we attack quickly and decisively.

In previous league games we've tried to sit back and pick them off but have sat so deep that they've just completely dominated us. We have to get the perfect balance: apply just enough pressure to keep them at arms length, while not leaving space in behind for Werner. We also need to make sure Ziyech doesn't have time on the ball: he's quite easy to mark out of the game as he can't really beat a man and is weak physically, but if you give him half a second he'll kill you with that left foot.

Does Frank stick with the 4-3-3 or twist and go 3-4-3? Can we get Ndombele into the game to feed our attackers? Can we keep Ziyech quiet? Can Werner hit a barn door with a banjo as he's failed to do so many times this season?

Really fascinating contest and I'd hate to bet on it. A 3-0 win to either side wouldn't surprise me, yet a 0-0 draw also seems highly likely.
I can see Frank switching it up to 343 like he did last season. If he does, I hope Jose changes to put us more attacking and pressing. Chelsea’s backline is their weakness, press them and keep them under pressure and they will fold.

Two interesting tidbits...

The last time we won our first 5 away games in the top flight we won the league (1961).
Jose Mourinho has never lost 3 consecutive league games against the same manager or team.

Central defence is a concern without Toby (until we get a good look at Rodon at least) but I'm sure we'll score a couple.

Yeah I think so too. If Frank tries to be cute I think he might get stung here: Jose will see that coming and have us prepared for it. Fool me once...

Okay, the last time we were in any reasonable position to win the PL, Chelsea thwarted our efforts in the Battle at the Bridge, as we came away with only 1 point. This is the ideal game for some type of recompense by coming away with three 3 points instead of 1, where would maintain our position at the top of the table (Liverpool wont beat BHA by 8 goals) and putting a dent in Chelsea's efforts, in other words the ideal result to the Ultimate 6 pointer!

Spurs, I have faith in you, do it for the Cockerel!! COYS!!

[Edit] To be honest I feared the Man City game more and look how that turned out!

Cock power - Thanks for the thread @Bulletspur as per..

I have an air of confidence about this one.

IMO the most difficult game of the season. Really can't see us winning thou. Specially with Ziyech hitting form.

What ever the result tomorrow I think it could get interesting later on in the season, if we have a chance to win it Jose's experience over Frank's could be key when fine margins matter so much.

Against City I was so confident we would get at least one point but also had a good feeling we would win. I have the same feeling for tomorrow’s game, we’re better than them and we will show it

I suppose even Tottenham has only defeated one top half team so far?

I do worry about their attacking options against us.

Then again I fancy our attacking options against their defence.

It'll be an interesting game!

Their defence is actually really good, they have maybe performed the best in the league so far. So I see no reason why we should draw confidence from their defence.
